After waiting many years to replace battery thinking it’d be really difficult, I’ve found these kits to make it super simple to replace battery. They give you all the parts you need to do the job. Hardest part is taking out the old battery but it’s much easier if you heat it up using a blow dryer first. Plenty of videos online if the provided instructions aren’t sufficient. As for the battery, it’s still going strong and last just as long as the original battery, even after several months of heavy usage. It’s much cheaper than replacing the phone if you’re even a tad bit handy.

My iPhone looks like a new phone after replacing the battery. The battery power lasts longer than I expected. I don't give 5 stars due to the tool set coming with the battery is not that good, but with that price, I am totally satisfied.

This battery is just as bad as the one it replaced! Only last around 3~4 hrs of use. Installation was a pain in the ass, and I was really hoping to not ever have to do it again. Oh well, you get what you pay for…..

Not an easy repair, but not entirely difficult if you dabble with electronics occasionally. Battery life on my XS max went from 68% health to 100%. It took me about 45 minutes to replace. No complaints!

Apple iPhone SE 2020Pro:Definitely larger capacity. Phone goes 8-10 hours with light usage and still has 80% battery whereas the original battery would die completely in 4-5 hours.Can be done by people with experience working on computers, rebuilding carburetors and small plastic models or other tiny electronics.Most included tools are actually very useful. I’d have a quality jewelers set of magnetized Phillips bitsThird party YouTube video has good instructions.Cons:No instructionsPhillips screw driver they include is garbage and too large.The included adhesive seal is aggravating because it sticks to the plastic structure much better than the actual aluminum chassis of the phone and requires great care and concentration to install correctly.The double sided tape for the battery is also very aggravating and tedious to apply.Bottom line:For the money this is a decent and affordable way to extend the life of an old phone.You’ll need very good near vision and/or magnifying lasses, a quality set of sharp tweezers, excellent lighting and either a black or white tablecloth to do the job correctly and keep from loosing tiny tiny tiny screws.TAKE YOUR TIME!!
