Man, this Eero Pro 7 is the real deal. I was pulling my hair out with my old Orbi system, constantly dealing with slowdowns and dead spots in my NYC apartment. But seriously, after swapping it out for this Eero, my speeds have practically doubled, and I've got full coverage everywhere. You can even see the difference in the before and after photos I've attached.Setup was a breeze, and I haven't had a single drop or slowdown since. It's just rock-solid. And get this: my iPhone 15 Pro and MacBook Air M3 aren't even Wi-Fi 7 yet! So this Wi-Fi will be even faster once Apple upgrades their chips in the next generations. The only tiny thing is the price; it's definitely an investment. But honestly, for the peace of mind and incredible performance, it's totally worth it. So happy with this thing!

Worked right out of the box. I have a 2K+ square foot home and I placed one on the second floor in my office (front side of house) and the other in the kitchen by the back patio door and I have signal everywhere including backyard. All devices from 2:4-7GHz connect no problem. I can get 600mgb down and 300 up 2 rooms away. If I’m in the same room I can get 1GB up and down (fiber from ISP). If I’m downstairs I can get 800 down and 300 up. I could get better speeds downstairs if I connected both devices with an Ethernet cable. The app is easy to use, it doesn’t give you a ton of granular control like ubiquiti for example but if you don’t need that kind of control these are the devices you want. Speed test was on an iPhone 15.

Works like it should! Love the app, I upgraded from the 1st gen google nest a system that was quite reliable. This is just as reliable, set up was a bit of a challenge at first. I called customer support and man they were great, got me set up quickly.The app is awesome super easy to use and lots of features. I’ve had the new system for 2 weeks and haven’t had a chance to go through all of the options yet. Overall I’d highly recommend, I am now getting what I’m paying for with my ISP due to the speeds of this system.

FINAL UPDATE: I was working with the Eero team through email with my issues and they did end up sending a software update that fixed my issues. I will note that the Max 7 does put out higher speeds than the Pro 7, but it should for the extra cost. Glad I was able to get things working properly with the help of the Eero team.ANOTHER UPDATE: I have noticed over the last 2 weeks that I am having smart home devices disconnecting. I am also noticing that meshing with the Max 7 has gotten worse again. I walked from my office (Max 7) to my bedroom (Pro 7)… a few minutes into being in my bedroom I was trying to check something on my website from my phone and I couldn’t connect to the internet and I also noticed 2 smart home devices were disconnected. I went downstairs and made sure my sites were working (they were) and went back to my room and everything was working perfectly again. Just inconsistent. I’m not sure if it is just the Pro 7’s or just something with the Max 7 and Pro 7’s not communicating properly.————-UPDATE: this morning there was a software update to the Eero system. It made a HUGE difference. Now all of my Pro 7’s are working better and are pushing out great speeds and not getting slow is disconnecting like it was prior to the update. However, it is not meshing as well with the Max 7 I also have. The Pro 7’s seem to mesh better with other Pro 7’s and not as well with the Max 7. I am going to assume this will get better with time as Eero does more software updates. After this update Eero pushed the connection is fantastic, speeds are insanely fast and everything just works.————-While I really like the speeds these Eero Pro 7’s are putting out WiFi wise, the connection to devices has been really bad. Several times a day we lose connection or our WiFi becomes very slow. Ethernet wise it is still at the highest speeds, but WiFi is connecting intermittently or not at all and just really slow. I will give it another 10 days and if it still bad I will return these until Eero figured their software on these out.I am not new to Eero either. I have had the Eero Pro 6E and those were awesome. Never really had any issues with them. Now that I swapped to the Pro 7’s I started having these issues.

I spent a long time reviewing a mesh network option for my home, and chose Eero. Happy that I did. The performance is great, the setup is VERY easy. I have a 2600sqft home with two stories and a basement and lath+plaster on the main floor, and 3 Pro 7 units seem to cover it well.The only tradeoff is control: you can't fiddle with the system like you can with one where you can remote into a local IP address from your laptop or phone. But, if you're looking for a set it and forget it option that works well, go for this one.
