You can tell by the state of the book's cover that it's been read over and over again. It's been loved and held close, slept next to and tucked in with every luggage to be taken along.Faiz weaved magic into his verses and that magic will outlive us all.It's a beautiful beautiful book and deserves to be read, to be loved.

The translations are elegant, though I prefer Mustansir Dalvi's translations on the asanyfuleknow blog. What's priceless is the book design by Gunjan Ahlawat. Good production, good to hold in the hand.

Contains some of the greatest work of Faiz Ahmed Faiz in beautiful light. With the English translations, it’s nkt much of a problem to understand the Urdu poetry. And with a compelling introduction to his life and legacy, this book is a beautiful piece of art put together.

This book doesn't have poems in parent language (urdu). It just has their translation into English which doesn't not feel real and mean the same way to the reader.
