Works with adults and children!
Great book to teach my grandsons about nature. I’m a Master Gardener but this helps me to focus on nature with youngsters.

This Book is a Classic must have!
This book is a classic, with lots of games and activities that can be used to introduce nature to kids. We are in the process of establishing an interpretive center in the Orinoco River basin of Colombia, with tropical education for kids one of our primary goals, so Sharing Nature with Children is definitely going to be one of our important resources. This book is a must have for anyone interested in the subject of interpretation, tropical or environmental education.

Still fantastic after all these years...!
Absolutely fantastic book - first got it 20 years ago, lent my copy out when I was an outdoor educator... no idea where it went. Now I have it back and I'm delighted. SIfting through the magical pages reminds me of all the high-impact activities I did with my campers and students... so glad to have it in hand once again.

It has some good ideas
This book is helpful for parents and primary grade teachers who want to help their children connect with nature. It is full of ideas for outdoor activities and extensions. It is a good companion book for Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv.

Helpful, creative ideas easy to follow
This is an extremely useful book for parents, teachers, outings leaders (my reason for ordering it). I was able to use some of these ideas in my first national Sierra Club Family Outing this summer. Something in here for any size group, in any kind of natural area. There's a reason this is a classic!
