Test kit is better

When you need to do a fast test, just to make sure your water is in the right parameters. This is a good product. Very simple to use pretty accurate.

These are great for my son to test the water on his axolotl tank. Keeps me from having to do it and he’s learning more about water quality at the same time.

I also have an API kit, but I like to use these for quick checks where I know ammonia isn't an issue. A lot of people say strips aren't accurate, but when I've tested them against the API kit, they are pretty darn close.

Good thing it comes with so many ! I test at least 3 times because at least one is a dud . I get that these are quick tests and not held to the same standards as liquid testing but I feel that spending a few more dollars will get more accurate testing .
