Do use the correct solution for a steam oven. The concentration is different from the solution you would use for a coffee machine. It does the job very well.

This Christmas Day, After 7 years my Wolf Steam Convection Oven, which I use 3-4 times a week, gave a message for the first time that the boiler needed to be descaled. This was the manufacturers recommended product. It was considerably cheaper on Amazon than via the Sub Zero Wolf website. Product arrived on time, well packaged and got the job done. Instructions are easy to follow. It took about 30 minutes total as my oven required several repetitions of the rinsing stage - not surprising after 7 years. You need to use the full amount to clean a steam oven. Will order again.

I have tried it on my espresso machine and it works well.

I bought this product to descale a Wolf convection steam oven. I must say, it works great for that purpose. Follow the instructions and the scale gets scrubbed from the system. It doesn't have a nasty chemical smell, and it did not leave any weird flavors on the food once we had completed the cleaning cycle.

This is a perfect jug - enough for one use for cleaning our steam oven. Dump it in the reservoir and recycle the bottle. It's much cheaper than the "official" stuff that my oven manufacturer sells, and the active ingredients appear to be the same.I have no idea why Amazon is asking me to rate the flavor of this fluid as it surely is toxic, and I suspect that no one should ever ingest it at any time for any reason.
