When I first used the program, I got an error message when I tried to add a picture to my project. I cannot be 100% sure that simply restarting the computer actually is what fixed it, but it is inserting images just fine, now. **Q: does it work in windows 10?????????** A: Yes, it works with Windows 10, I have no problems with it. **Q: Does the box say compatible with Windows 10?** A: I'm not sure about what the box says, but it will work with Windows 10, I use it all the time, I have Windows 10 myself. Highly recommend. **Q: Why is my new version of printmaster v8 so tiny on my new computer? i use to love printmaster, but now it doesn't allow me to use earlier projects.** A: PrintMaster 8 is Release 2 of the PrintMaster product line. Release 2 is NOT downward compatible with Release 1. You need to get a copy of PrintMaster 18.1, which is Release 1. I have PrintMaster 8 & 18.1 installed on Window 7 and 10 laptops. I personally like Release 1 better, but I've been using it for over 15 years. However this one is not as good as my original version. There are no where near the graphics, you can only open one project at a time and not able to copy from one to the other as I could with to older version. Half of the things you could original do are not there for example printing a page of what happened the day you were born. There are about 1/4 the sentiments. However, I have not found a program that I like 100% so I settle for what I can do with Printmaster. Latest Windows update made my old version obsolete. Looked online and I saw 5 places say that this version would open old versions files - well it doesn't. I now have to recreate a ton of stuff and I am finding it difficult to do in this new version.It will only recognize some of my fonts - not all of them. If you resize a text box on one side you cannot use the side resize button on the other side - you must click off of it and then back on to do this. You can only have one project open at a time - old one you could have multiple things going at once. Tried to do a shipping label - it is not offered as a standard - I had to put in measurements of label and figure out gap size to put it in (they only offer about 5 label sizes all the rest are custom) - I finally gave up and used Microsoft Publisher. You also cannot copy from one project to another - I wanted to copy the information from my business card onto a label and could not do it - again went to Publisher and I could copy and paste in there. It won't stay in the folder I am in.I could go on but I am tired of typing.
