Good product easy to use and goes a long way, I’ve used it before and used on untreated timber it brings out the natural colour

I ordered this clear wood preservative at a reasonable price. I have used it before. It has a very watery consistency but can be applied really easily and the wood instantly glows. The 5 Litre tin goes a long way too, covering my shed, gate and a few decking planks with 3 coats ... and more to spare.The design of the screw cap is a bit awkward to use and pour from without it dripping down the side of the can. Unfortunately the tin was also delivered with a dent on the corner, but wasn't leaking.

Great product does not peel or fade with the weather easy to apply and only need to to do my fencing and outdoor wood areas every 2 years . Saves time and money .

Initially this prodwas recommended to me as an oil based treatment, so I have put two coats on two new sheds and a new gate. Easy to apply and clean up afterwards.

I've been using barrettine for a number of years now and it keeps your garden timber looking good with no rot (despite excessive rainfall). It gives a waterproof coating as well as uv protection. I treat my fence once a year and the fence looks new and not unsightly. Value for money especially if you consider fence replacement cost!

Goes on well with a sprayer and appears to have waterproofed our fence, which is just what we wanted.

Early impressions of the performance of this product are good, as far as I can tell but, as many other reviewers of this product/supplier have commented, why was the can it was delivered in so badly dented/damaged? The can that was delivered to me was VERY badly dented/damged. So much so that I was concerned that it might be leaking/broken. WHY? Surely this can only indicate carelessness/lack of consideration by the supplier.Anyway, the product SEEMS good. I am fed up with water-based procucts that claim to protect timber from the elements but prove to be utterly useless. Sad fact is, we need something OIL-based to protect wood (etc.) from the elements and, early indications are that this product serves this purpose well.
