I had hoped this would shred as well as the images and reviews suggest; however, my experience has been different. Cheese is either too hard or too soft (I even tried freezing cheddar for 30 min and it still gummed up). 4 stars because it does function, it's easy to clean and reassemble, and it does a great job shredding frozen stick butter for biscuits and rough puff pastry. Not sure I'd buy it again.

I bought this for my mother so she could keep making her turnip cakes without struggling. I wanted this to work so much so that I tried it out. The machine was great heavy duty but didn’t work on my cabbage. I am 75 and have a hard time cutting the cabbage for coleslaw. It is one of the few carbs I still eat on my low carb diet. I wanted this machine so bad but if I cannot use it for cabbage I am sending it back. This is a nice heavy duty machine and didn’t bounce around my counter just was not feasible for me.

I ordered of the Australian Amazon Website, And it arrived with a European plug. I can’t recommend it as I can’t use it. I think I can buy a plug that attaches to it 🥴
