OM Neti Pot (Pearl Blue)

A full 5 stars because:1) Perfect size. I can easily take it with me on travels, it fits perfectly in my medium sized hands, and yet it holds enough sinus rinse solution to clear both sides of my nose.2) Beautiful craftsmanship. Well made, beautiful color.3) The designs allows for easy cleaning! The opening is big enough to clean it without any tool.4) The spout is not too big or too small. It is the perfect size for nasal rinsing!5) A very reasonable price and it comes with easy to understand instructions!I am new to neti pots/sinus rinsing, so I didn't want to spend toooo much money in case I didn't like doing nasal rinses. However I still wanted a quality product so I decided to purchase this OM Neti Pot. Absolutely no regrets! And so far it seems to be helping with my horrible seasonal allergies. I do my nasal rinse at the start of my day (using DISTILLED WATER with salt and baking soda), and for the past 2 days I have not sneezed or sniffled once! Usually I sneeze more than a dozen times a day, and am constantly blowing my nose. I think this neti pot may be my life saver. :)***Do NOT use tap water with this. Google it if you don't know why. I only use distilled water, whether it's for nasal rinsing or cleaning the neti pot.

I happened upon this specific neti pot because I wanted a non-plastic neti pot that didn't have a hollow handle. I wanted non-plastic because I usually pour post boiled water into my neti pot, then allow it to cool off. I wanted a non hollow handle because I read that water can get stuck in the handle and end up harboring bacteria. Whether that's true or not...why take the chance?I emailed the maker of this neti pot and he informed me that it is made of porcelain, a vitrified ceramic, and glazed with a clear ceramic glaze (feldspar glaze) on the inside. A little bit of googling made me feel safe enough with using this product with boiling hot water (obviously I let it cool before using it).Also, the neti pot just looks great. I got the balsam green, and it's a very pleasing color.If you use this with boiled water - it takes a while to cool off to a usable temperature. I usually put it in a pyrex container with water that comes half way up the height of the neti pot and then pour the hot water into the neti pot. This cools it off within 15 minutes.

This is a lovely neti pot. It can go in the dishwasher and is small enough to sit on the shampoo rack in the shower. I find it's easier to use in the shower, personally. It fits nicely in my hand and doesn't tip over. It's a good value for the money.

This potter makes the best neti pots and neti salt pots on the market. Not inexpensive but lovely enough that you learn to handle them with care and respect. BEAUTIFUL vehicles to enhance your excellent nasal cleansing habits!

Wonderful craftsmanship and very beautiful glaze (we got the sea lavender). We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how lovely this little pot is. Feels comfortable in the hand and looks like a work of art. I don't use it for its intended purpose but my husband does and he likes it.

I love it! It's not as big as another one I have, but this little one just fits in my hand very easily and is so pretty as well as functional.

This is beautiful, like the salt pit but I am having a difficult time using it. It isn't as comfortable as the plastic pot that I had. I guess I will just need some adjustment to practice finding the right position.

This works great. It holds the same amount of water as the plastic ones but looks and feels so much better. I am worried about breaking it but as a device that I use twice a day I much prefer to take the risk use this over some cheap plastic. I also think it is cleaner as it has no areas to hold moisture after cleaning it like the plastic ones do. If I break it I will just buy another one.

So much better (and hygienic) than the plastic NetiPot!

This is quick and easy to use. A quick rinse with hot water to clean. Very sanitary, high quality ceramic.

Nice container but too small. Doesn't fit average packet per water amount.

Beautiful addition to the bath for something i use very frequently. Water flow is just right.
