Review after 1 year of use
I am writing this review after 4 months of use and the TV is having some issues. The TV is. not working since last 20 days and I am not getting proper service from Toshiba team. TV is good but the service from Toshiba is not upto the mark.

QLED 55" 55M550LP TOSHIBA TV Review (with installation, technician and customer service issues)
I recently purchased the 55" QLED TOSHIBA TV and while I am generally pleased with the product, I have had some issues with the installation process, the technician's behaviour, and the customer service provided. The installation technician has repeatedly rescheduled and caused delays, which has been a significant inconvenience for me. Additionally, the technician was enrage and disrespectful during the installation, which made the experience even more unpleasant.The picture and sound quality are good, and the smart features are user-friendly and easy to navigate. The design of the TV is sleek and modern, and it looks great in my living room. The size is perfect for my space and the thin bezel gives it a clean look. The set-up was easy and straightforward once the technician arrived.I contacted customer service to address the issues with the installation and technician behaviour, but I was disappointed by the lack of response and updates provided. I was not able to get a clear status on my complaint, and it was difficult to get in touch with a Toshiba Installation team.I should mention that it is worth noting that this TV is very similar to a Hisense TV. The picture and sound quality are almost identical, and the smart features are also very similar. The main difference is the brand name and the price point. If you are looking for a TV with similar features at a lower price point, you may want to consider a Hisense TV instead.Overall, I am satisfied with the TV itself but disappointed with the technician's behaviour, the delays caused by rescheduling and the poor customer service provided. My review isn't about TV, it's about customer service
(1) At the time of making payment I was advised by a CS agent that if I pay by HDFC CC it will credit Rs 4000.00 cashback in my Amazon pay account once the TV is delivered. I asked her to double check if my understanding is correct about the promotional offer. She put me on hold, verified with her colleagues / seniors and confirmed that it will be credited in amazon pay account. She also showed and helped me on activating my Amazon Pay Account.(2) After the TV was delivered, I was advised that Toshiba team will complete the installation within 24 to 48 hours however despite my several attempts and calls no one called me or turned up to complete the installation for 4 days!!!(3) Since I didn't receive the cashback after 3 days from the TV delivery date, I called the Amazon CS team to find out the reason and to my surprise, I was told that CS agent provided me the incorrect information as there is/was no such offer so there won't be any credit for it. I then asked to resolve / escalate this issue however the CS agent told me that the only resolution is to return and take the refund!!! The CS agent didn't even show any interest or did any effort to see if anything can be done to fix the issue!!! Anyways, I went ahead with the returns option and I was promised that it will be picked up within 2-3 days and a refund will be then issued.(4) It's been more than 12 days now, I have spoken to various CS agents during this time. So far every time I called them they kept saying the same thing i.e. return will be picked up within 72 / 48/ 24 hours and refund will be issued then. I think they regenerated returns on 16th, 18th, 21st, 23rd and today on 27th again etc and kept extending the 72 hours limit from the new generation date of return.(5) Your colleague named Manorath / Gaurav / Jyoti etc told me on the various dates that if no one comes to pick the return within the next 2 days then they will issue a refund irrespective of whether it's being picked up or not. However during my subsequent calls the other colleagues named Gaurav, Tarun and Sudhanshu said that they provided incorrect information!!!! Every new person I talked to confirmed to me that the previous person provided wrong information!!!The crazy events are still happening, now someone has cancelled the pick up from their side and asked me to rearrange the pick up. I have no idea what's going!I can tell you this is not the Amazon I know. It's utter chaos and no one know what they are doing, they don't have any authority to make any decision and it's just become a joke!After 14 days I am still waiting for the pick up with no sight of it getting fixed in near future.
