Very handy for my setup
Since my Vizio TV only has one HDCP 2.2 HDMI input for 4K and I have a Sony UBP-X800 4K player, a Roku Ultra, a Amazon 4K Fire Stick, and a Raspberry Pi, I needed an easy way to switch inputs to my Onkyo TX-NR838 for sound while still having 4K output to the TV. This switch with its remote makes that all possible. The Fire Stick complains about not seeing an HDCP 2.2 connection but the image is still shows as being 4K so not sure where the problem lies there - all HDCP 2.2 cabling though HDCP 2.2 inputs & outputs . . . no such problem with any of the other 4K devices.

Definitely a good buy!
This switch has more features than I’m presently able to use! It works as described. Recommend using a quality HDMI cable. It would be super great if while in PiP there were audio in both pictures instead of only the big picture. Also what confused me for a second is in the instructions it says when device is powered on you’ll see a green light. Well it’s not green it’s blue like the other lights. No biggie though!

HDMI port sharing!!!
Had more devices to connect then my TV had HDMI ports. I purchased this HDMI switch and solved the problem. I now have three devices connecting to my TVs HDMI 3 port. Since I can only use one device at a time, it is great to just press the remote button and connect that device...

The base does not handle the weight of the switcher, hence causing stability usage issues.
I would not recommend this product because it is poorly designed. I will admit that what sold me the idea of getting this particular switcher was the PIP (picture in picture) feature. However, such feature is close to useless because the image shown is way too small to make any sense of what is being displayed, so forget about watching multiple connected devices at the same time. I guess it's just meant to be able to just check if the signal is working, rather than being able to for example watch a movie at the same time that you play a video game or so, which would be ideal. The biggest issue is the stand itself. Mainly because it does not handle the tension/pressure of the HDMI cables once they are connected to it. That in turn causes it to semi-float in the air, which further causes complications, since it causes what is being transmitted to the displays to come and go sporadically. Sometimes the image will go until I tap it or press on it. Other times it will work fine, but I guess it's not reliable enough for everyday use, because sometimes I end up having to move it around until it stabilizes wasting precious time that could be spent focusing on what I'm supposed to be doing on the computer. Also one has to repeatedly press the HDMI cables back into position, since the tilting loosens them at times.I'll definitely have to shell out more money for a higher quality product, one that works without problems. What I really like about it is its appearance, it actually blends in with my others devices, but that's probably about it.If the company fixed all these issues, there's no doubt it would be an all right product, but it's not. In others, buy another switcher. One that is HDMI 2.0 compliant, because this one is only HDMI 1.4 rated.

Picture are great with true High Definition viewing
Just what I needed. My flat screen only had 2 HDMI ports. This gave me the ability to add all of my additional HDMI components with remote control access ability. Picture are great with true High Definition viewing. I can also when need connect my lap top. With the remote control with PIP I can easily switch between connected components. I also used 3M to sided tape and attached it to my flat screen. Looks great.

Love it completely, no auto switching problem here.
I was worried about the "auto switching" problem some people have noted, but I haven't so far found it to be an issue. I have my fire stick, Nintendo Switch, and Dish Joey all plugged into mine. No issues so far. I love that it has the remote & is so compact. the video pass through seems to be perfect.

Flickering on HDMI port 2 breaks this product
I came across this item on a sale for about $20 and thought I'd give it a try. My home set up includes a projector, a Home Theater PC, a Nintendo Switch Dock, and a PS4.HTPC was connected to the HDMI port 1. It worked flawlessly, no problems. The Nintendo Switch Dock was connected to port 2 and consistently had flickering issues with the screen, rendering it unplayable.I'm glad others have had success with this product. I was not so lucky with two of them.

Works well.
So far everything is working very well. Devices like this tend to have a short life span. My last device (not this brand) lasted about 1 year. The device before that lasted about 4 months. Time will tell.
