Primos HuntingHook Hunter Series, Turkey Mouth Call

Had one before. Loved it! This one sounds just as good!

Ordered this for an upcoming hunt, was disappointed to see the tape come apart after just 2 days of use. I wish these would be a little more durable, especially because it’s on the expensive side of mouth calls.

This is one of my two favorite mouth calls (the other being the Ghost cut 2 inch hooks). This call is fairly easy to blow and works well for those who have a center or right airflow. By moving tongue pressure/airflow to the right of the call, you can get clear kee kees and tree calls, while calling down the middle gives a clear front end breaking over quickly into a raspy yelp. These work great for my style of calling and have definitely gotten me some responses from birds. While any of these calls will likely be great for aggressive yelps, cutting, and cackling there have been some inconsistencies in the two I owned. The top reed cuts were just a bit different and one was just as easy to do "the soft stuff" of purring, clucking, and whines on as the Ghost cut while the other had a little different tone and was harder to control on the low end. Wish the cuts were more consistent, but a good call nontheless.

Does it job decently

I'm a beginner, so not in a position to evaluate this technically. But it makes turkey sounds and is easy to use. I put it in my mouth, gave a huff, and was clucking immediately. Have no idea if it's worth the price, which is higher than many other mouth calls. And will need much more practice to see how it does in the field.

Little expensive for the average Joe looking for a diagram. But blows really nicely, not just for long Range calling. My go to call. Easy airflow, feels different in your mouth. You'll get used to it, awesome call

Great sounds can be produced with this call, one of my favorites.

I'm fairly new to Turkey hunting but I've been messing around with calls for a long time and hunted other birds/animals for a long time..I took my friends kids this year for the youth opener in NE, we hunted for 2 days and I was "in charge" of calling and both kids(10-9) bagged 3 mture birds.

Awesome call. Will get more for sure. I was able to make some putts and keekees with it. Got two turkeys on this call
