Best sharpener I have ever owned. I took an old dull knife and stroked it 3 times on each side and It was sharp as a razor. GREAT PRODUCT!

So far so good. I had a diamond sharpening rod for years but the coating finally wore off (after several years; different brand, and that brand is no longer available). I'm hoping that this will be a good replacement. So far it seems to be working. Lots better at sharpening than most rods I have tried. We'll see how long the coating holds up.

I have had several diamond honing steels over the past decade or so. I just received the Kimura steel and gave it a solid test drive on 5 or s6 of my needy knives. It sharpened superbly. I was most persuaded by their lifetime warranty.

I recently purchased this sharpener and I have new knives so I can only comment on a few things for now. I thought the price was good for a quality sharpener such as this and when I opened the package I was not disappointed. I like the feel, weight and balance of this product and since I like keeping my knives sharp, I hope to get several years of use.

I got to use it last night and it seems to work really well I hope that it lasts me a long time! Happy with the quality!!
