Lots of extra hands, works like it should
Inexpensive and so far very accurate. Was easy to install.

So many hands!
Aside from the obvious that it was easy to install and worked as it should, the assortment of hand choices was brilliant. Of course, we installed one set, then noticed there was another we liked better! Good value overall.

Accurate and quiet.
Liked having the short hands as an option since my clock had a small face. The glass front also was close to the face, so there was not a lot of room. This one had a smaller profile for the hands and I was able to add this model with the second hand.

tip for keeping original clock hands
Really nice repair kit, or for making a new clock out of a plate or anything else you can come up with. We were repairing a vintage clock and wanted to keep the look of its original hands, instead of using one of the new sets of hands that comes with the kit.At first it appeared the clock mechanism might be defective, because the seconds hand would get most of the way around but couldn’t make it past 12; then we wondered if the hands on our old clock might be heavier and more than the new mechanism could handle. We experimented by taking the seconds hand off completely, and indeed the clock worked fine.As the post of the seconds hand also serves as a decorative cap on the end of the pin that holds all the hands, we cut the straight part of the seconds hand off and only used its circular post at the end of the pin. The clock has worked fine ever since, and there’s something more visually calming about it not ticking out the seconds. If you have this problem when reusing the hands that came with your antique/vintage clock and don’t care about the seconds showing, give this a try. Taking off just that little bit of extra weight was all the mechanism needed to do its job.
