BTAS makes a lot of various lubricants, cleaners, and protectants, so I thought this gun oil was worth a shot. The product comes well-packaged as a spray bottle and dropper bottle, with a pack of cleaning pads as well. The box has to double as the product's storage container as well, as there's nothing else included besides the listed items and the cardboard packaging. Oh well, they'll probably end up in the case I keep my cleaning tools in anyway.The spray bottle feels like step 1 of a 2-step process. It seems to do a fine job of cleaning, but I'm not sold on its protectant capability. The precision dropper bottle seems to be geared more toward sealing, protecting, and lubricating the surfaces. I used this on all the external surfaces as well as some of the internals of my old Winchester Model 94 that's admittedly seen better days. It's mostly for looking at anymore, and it doesn't see much field action, so a good product that can fend off idle decay is necessary. Will this hold up to that need? We'll see.
