This beautifully made book has page upon thick page of great color photos of ship models from the Thomson Collection at the Art Gallery of Ontario (Canada). Each model is shown in an overall photo as well as close ups. Not a speck of dust is to be seen.

I enjoyed the opportunity to review Ship Models by Simon Stephens. As someone who takes an interest in Navy Board and Georgian ship models, I was very interested to read about the models in Thomson Collection and see the beautiful pictures and illustrations that accompanied them. My only quibble, a minor one, is that the book is in paperback (I prefer hardback if I plan to keep the book for a long time).
