Instructions could be better but customer service was excellent
I bought 4 of these fans. The instructions were horrible. One of the fans did not work at all, and another made a loud metal on metal noise when it spun. I had to uninstall the two fans that didn’t work and then install the two that worked so it took twice as long to put them up. The fans actually look decent and the two that work are fine for now. I’m concerned about the quality control and whether these will last. The electronic receiver is also very bulky and hard to fit in the space adjacent to the junction boxI’m updating my review to five stars due to the customer service I received after my review. The seller went over and above to make it right, and I am satisfied with my purchase. I have had no trouble at all with the two fans that I did not return.

Faulty remote, but easy fix!!
The fan serves its purpose, and is great for the price. The beeping is a bit annoying. I’ll probably see if my husband can disable that. FOR ANYONE WHO HAS REMOTE CONTROL ISSUES!!! So did we. But thank goodness my husband looked in the battery housing and saw that the negative sides (the springs) were angled down and not getting a good connection to the batteries. He bent/manipulated the springs and voila, the fan works perfectly. I hope this helps others!

Returning this item
The fan was inoperable after installation. Numerous attempts were made, and also changed the batteries in the remote. The light was functional which proved the electrical power was hook up properly.

Just bought my third one.
I love this fan/ light. We got it for my son’s room. It has worked so well, we got two more. I love how the fan blades tuck in when not being used. Now I don’t have to clean a ceiling fan.
