I’ve put hot coffee in in the morning and it’s still warm and drinkable 8 hours later. For cold drinks I’ve put in Gatorade and ice and 20/24 hours later there is still ice in the cup. It has a screw on lid which I much prefer over press in kind. It comes with a straw for cold drinks and has an opening on the lid just for the straw. Or you can spin the closure bar around for a solid fit. I’ve owned several brands of thermos type mugs including that very high priced one and for me this out performs them all for a lot less money. I would definitely recommend buying and I will purchase more in the future..if needed.06/06 Update…I’ve been so happy with this Stanley cup that I have purchased 3 more as gifts for family members.
