2¾" Pizza Cutter

I bought one of these years ago, but it got thrown away in a pizza box. I couldn’t find a replacement, so I bought a cheaply made one. The blade was wobbly and the disk was dull. Every time I used it I lamented losing the Dexter. Finally, after a few years I looked online and found my old friend online and bought one. What a difference good design and quality make. If you’re considering it, just buy the damn thing and think of this review every time you cut into a delicious pizza. Dexter is a great brand. I bought my favorite spatula 40 years ago and it’s still perfect.

Simple metal tool makes for awesome pizza slicing. Works on thin dough crusts and bulky corn meal crusts. Stays sharp. Easy to clean. Fits securely in the hand without a rubber or silicone grip that will eventually tear, split, or crumble off. My parents have an old pizza cutter like this from the 50s. It’s a lifetime piece.

I am particularly fond of this style of pizza cutter. The handle is the right size for me and is comfortable when cutting pizza. The wheel is very sharp too. Hand wash only.

This pizza cutter has been in our utensil drawer for over 15 years and in our recent search for another pizza cutter locally, I bought a well known utensil brand in a major chain store. Got it home and after closer inspection realized that the diameter of the cutting wheel was much larger than the Dexter wheel which is 2&13/16". The smaller diameter Dexter Wheel has always been adequate and efficient and definitely a plus when it comes to storage in a drawer with many other items. Also, there was no comparison when it comes to construction. The chain store pizza cutter was not made in the USA and the axle of the cutter wheel was pop riveted compared to the Dexter wheel which is secured by a stainless steel bolt and nut even though I've never had to replace the wheel. Well worth the expense of the product.

This item is nice and works well. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER. This item is hand wash only regardless of what it states in the product description. If you choose to place in dishwasher then you’ll have a nasty handle that puts metal corrosion on your hands and all over the rest of your dishes. 3 stars bc bad description. I used and put in dishwasher and that’s how I found out. They replaced item and now I know it’s hand wash only. Not from company but from trial and error.

Well made all aluminum pizza cutter. A little too expensive in my opinion, but it is very heavy duty. Do not put in the dishwasher as it is aluminum and the clean finish will disappear if put in dish washer. Hand wash only. Also I wish there was a 4 inch cutter as well instead of only this 2 inch cutter.

Very sharp works great

I purchased this pizza cutter and the box arrived opened and the handle was covered in scratches. I returned it and ordered a replacement, the replacement arrived and the handle was scratched and looked used as well. I am returning this one as well and am looking for other options.
