Wolbert Pepper Mill Prefilled (Whole black peppercorns grinder), L

Great quality, nice tall size, came filled pepper, works as expected. I have had it about a month and I do not have any problems with this product. You can definitely get fancier pepper mills but this one has been working great and I am completely happy. I have not tried to add in new pepper or adjust the size it grinds the pepper into - but it is used daily and no one is complaining.

I decided to buy this grinder over the cheap wooden ones and I'm glad I did. The main reason was because it's clear and would allow me to see when it needed a refill. I assumed it was plastic but it is glass. It comes sealed and full of pepper corns. It has a nice smooth action and is easy to operate. Don't be hesitant to pay a little more for this quality item that I have no doubt will last me years to come.

This is a mighty fine pepper grinder. It features a ceramic burr and a large glass body that holds quite a lot of pepper and easily lets you see how much is inside without disassembly. It has a simpler mechanism than most pepper grinders, where the burr is in the twist top rather than the base. Thus, it breaks down into fewer parts. The burr is fairly small, this makes it easy to turn, but you don't get much pepper at a time. and it comes with a clear plastic cap that covers the burr section. This is difficult to remove; it sits flush with the lip of the grinder, with only a small and subtle relief for you to get a grip to remove the lid. I just don't use the lid.

I purchased the pepper grinder after a more expensive one that was part of a set broke. This was less than half the price and came with a full load of pepper. And it is a reasonable match to the salt grinder that came with the pepper grinder that broke.

As soon as I took it out of the box I said 'oh yeah.' It's well made, solid, you can see what and how much is in it and it sits upright so no residue. Someone mentioned the lid being difficult to remove. It is. It is a finely machined fit, so it takes an exact fingernail to get it off, which also means it won't easily come off accidentally. It comes with and holds a very reasonable quantity of good smelling/tasting peppercorns.

The glass broke on the first day :( We have granite countertops, but we never broke anything so easy like that. My husband put it down and a quarter of the glass shuttered. Glass pieces and pepper corns all over the kitchen floor... The glass must be made out of some low quality material.

It worked fine for the first few times but after that the pepper corns constantly get stuck in the grinder and I have to open it up and use a fork to loosen them so that it'll actually grind. Too annoying to actually use.

Love the looks of this grinder. Love the quality of the ground peppers, but struggle with using it because it is hard to hold and turn at the same time.
