Fulla Muslim Doll Arabic Toy Pink Trim

I had no use for the doll itself (a sad affair with poorly rooted hair, a thoroughly unattractive face mold and a body mold with molded LONG JOHNS !!) However, I totally wanted the costume for one of my Barbie dolls to add to my Barbie Dolls of the World collection. In this regard I was extremely pleased as the costume completely fit the Barbie doll to a "T".I can understand that this doll is made to be as "anti-Barbie" as possible with the lack of articulation to the body, the child-like face mold and the molded long johns to more cater to Muslim children, but if your intention is to take the costume and dress one of your Barbie dolls with it, you will not be disappointed. Mattel (as in many other countries and cultures)grossly omitted making Muslim dolls in their Dolls of the World collection (they only made one, Morocco) and if you're like the many malcontent Dolls of the World collectors like myself who've yearned to add other nations and cultures Mattel was too lazy or scared or prejudiced to manufacture themselves, the Fulla dolls meet this need. I intend to purchase more to represent Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Oman and Qatar.

This doll is very pretty and makes a great foreign peice addition to my barbie collection! It is a most unusual barbie to own.
