i think this is my favorite product of all time i'm not jokingi'm v noise and temperature sensitive (thanks autism) and when the air is too still and warm i feel like i'm suffocating, so usually when it gets hot and i'm living someplace without incredible A/C i have to make insane tradeoffs. this rowenta fan has all the power of a normal fan but it's quieter than i thought was possible, by a wide margin. half the time when i turn it on (usually the 2nd lowest setting, maybe even the medium one) i FORGET THAT IT'S ON and notice like an hour after i stopped needing it that the head is still turning. even the turbo setting sounds like... idk a normal fan on medium mode???also something about the limited sound it does produce is kind of soothing (except for the turbo which starts to have additional mechanical sounds i'd expect of a normal fan).it's massive and a pain to haul around if you only have one but i live in a fairly small nyc apartment and it's well worth the square footage. i'm obsessed with this thingalso the beeping isnt as loud as scott (that one reviewer) says but if it bothers you he wrote out instructions for how to make it stop. (thank you scott for persuading me to drop $$ on this thing, worth every penny and more).idk maybe if you arent as sensitive as i am you wont get why i'm raving about it, and maybe if you're more sensitive you'll be disappointed, but for me this thing's absolute magic

If you think you want this fan, but are on the fence for whatever reason, BUY THIS FAN! I gave up buying table or floor fans bc they are noisy, weak, get dusty, flimsy, then fall over and break. That’s been my experience. But I want my bathroom to dehumidify more quickly after I shower. I wanted a fan to help that process along daily. After searching thoroughly and reading the reviews I purchased the Rowenta Turbo-Silence Table Fan 18”. I couldn’t be happier. It does everything right. My fan arrived quickly, undamaged, and had all the parts and picture instructions. The only thing missing was an allen wrench printed on the instructions, which wasn’t needed to assemble the fan, and a phillips head screwdriver that was needed. No big deal I have both those tools. I tested the fan and remote control from a distance of 12’. I could feel the fan in all modes, even silence (sleep) mode, to the appropriate degree from 12 feet away. They’re not lying it IS quiet, and the oscillation is parallel to the mode: it moves back and forth fastest on the highest speed and incrementally oscillates slower per each down shift in modes, oscillating the slowest on silence. I’m trying to come up with a reason that I need to buy another one…….This fan is fabulous - get one for yourself!

This fan is worth the money. It moves so much air and is far more quiet than the dozens of other fans I've had. I am super fussy about noise at night. The whisper mode is awesome. It pushes air but is barely audible. I'm going thru menopause so I'm battling night sweats. I needed something to circulate the air close to me but hate the noise most fans make. This fan is perfect. Purchasing another for our RV.

We wanted a fan to move air around in our air conditioned house so we went with the larger size. Needed to be quiet and we wanted it to look nice. WOW, the fan looks great, and moves tons of air. It was boxed nice, was easy to assemble and is of high quality for the price. The fan has easy controls with multiple speeds. It is the quietest fan I have ever owned. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend this fan!

I've been using this fan for about 2 years now and so far it's done the job with no problems !While I wouldn't say this fan is any more silent than others I would say this fan feels premium and looks super stylish !

I first purchased one of these fans back in 2022. It's a great fan. I just ordered another. It quietly moves a ton of air and is easy to assemble. My first one has run for 3 complete summers almost constantly and shows no sign of slowing down. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but after using it for 3 years it has proven to be worth the money...and it has a remote control too! Very happy with my purchase.
