These brass shut-off valves are a game-changer for my garden setup! The build quality is excellent—they feel very substantial and "heavy-duty" compared to the plastic versions that always seem to crack or leak. These have worked our very nicely. For anything outside brass stands up to the elements. I like the convenience of shutting the water off at the male end of the hose instead of constantly having to walk back to the spigot every time you need to change an attachment. These have worked perfectly so far with no leaking and the shutoff valve is easy to operate. Will probably purchase 2 more. Highly recommended.

These are excellent water shutoffs. The bodies are all brass, beautifully machined, and very sturdy. The lever is relatively easy to turn. Most shutoffs (and Y-connectors) have short levers that are difficult to turn. There are a few shutoffs on the market that have very large levers which I would imagine are easier to turn but would be easier to break if you accidentally stepped on them (and would be very painful if you did so without shoes). These connectors have slightly longer levers which are the perfect compromise. That little extra length makes them much easier to turn than levers on the cheaper units, and not as breakable as the long-levered shutoffs. They do not leak at all. NOTE OF CAUTION: if brass fittings are connected to aluminum fittings (which are extremely commonly used now on hoses due to the lower cost of aluminum) galvanic corrosion occurs and eventually the brass becomes "welded" to the aluminum and you will not be able to separate them. For this reason, avoid hoses with aluminum fittings.

Better quality than plastic, looks nice and easy to turn on and off. Only dislike is is restricts water pressure

These seem like very well made valves. They are fairly heavy and free of burrs and sharp edges.The on-off works smoothly, and there have been no leaks so far.

Love these shut off valves!! Solid construction and easy to use. I use them between mu hose and sprinklers. I am using 100 plus feet of hose and it goes through a fence with no gate, so running back and forth to the spicket to turn the hoses on and off is a nuisance. This way I can move the sprinklers without running back and forth. works perfectly for my needs.

These shut off valves are very good quality especially for the price. I’m very impressed. They fit our garden hose perfect and do not leak. I love that they came with extra o rings.
