Helped reach toenails and very sharp.
Bought for my brother. He said they worked good. But be careful not getting skin since they were very sharp lol. Now he can trim his toe nails himself. Plan on buying a pair for myself.

As advertised.. wide enough for thick nails
These are great. Strong, sharp, and wide enough for thick toe nails! The length and angle are also very nice and easy to hold. I like that they have the end cover to keep them safe and clean.

Perfect for super thick nails!
I bought these for my husband because he had such trouble cutting the toenails on his big toes. He needed something that opened wide enough as well as something strong enough. For years! When I got him these, he laughed at how they looked but agreed he could not imagine a toenail not fitting in them to cut. He was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to clip his toenails with these clippers. He took the recommendation of doing it after his shower which makes them easier to cut. And he got a nice clean cut. He's happy for not a lot of money spent. Wish we had gotten them years ago.

Very sharp, but handle is not longer than most heavy duty clippers.
The cutting blades are very sharp and cut through my toe nails just fine. However, I would not call the handles "long", unless you are comparing them to the short nailclippers a lot of us carry for emergencies. I did not the length of the handles before I placed the order, and measured the length to my other clippers. It seemed to me that these clippers would be about 1 inch longer than the toenail clippers I have. When the clippers arrived, the handles matched the length of my old clippers exactly. My old clippers were not advertised as having "long" handles. I am unable to reach my toenails on my left foot. I thought about how I could lengthen the handles on the new clippers, and as it turned out, the plastic supports that some shoes come with - so they hang on hooks in the store, work great to attach to the handles using duct tape. I cut the plastic hanger pieces that are used to support the shoes, off the hanger. I then attached them to the handles of the clippers, and it adds about 1 to 1.5 inches to the length. because of the design of the clipper handles, the plastic lengths fit very well onto the clippers. Now I finally can cut my long nails, and because of the sharpness of the clipper blades, it is very easy. I do not know if I would recommend these clippers without adding a comment about how to extend the handle length.

That they're just long enough that you can reach your toenail
These clippers are the best they're so easy to use and they're really sturdy and I have a heck of a hard time reaching my toes at my age so thank you so much
