Aggression Replacement Training: A Comprehensive Intervention for Aggressive Youth

This is an awesome tool to use with children and adolescents. If you have a child with ADHD, ODD, anger management issues, or they just have some social issues, this book amazing to use with the kids. Also love that CD-ROM that comes with it because it has all the handouts you need.

Great book. Been in the MH field for over 25 years.

ART is a must to have in both inpatient, residential and outpatient services. It is able to be used with children (10+) adolescents and adults in both MH and CD treatment. It works well with in juvenile justice and prisons, MRT, ACT, MET, TCBT, and Collaborating Problem Solving application. If you don't have it in your treatment library then you need to get it.

most excellent EBP in working with adolescents with aggressive, dissocial issues. Teaches vs. blames, diagnoses. Really like it. Now if we could get more trainings in it. that would be great. Should be required EBP for any systems working with adolescents. that's my opinion

Interesting. Unable to use because I am not a professional therapist, but CBT is the way to go with adolescents.

I use portions of this curriculum for my teen therapy group and love it! Works great for kids 9+ in my opinion, but some of the social skills may be a bit advanced for the younger ones.

Books did not come with CD, there wasn't even a space for the CD in the back of the book.
