I just set it up but so far so good. It does have some flakey things but nothing crazy. My turtles a baby and I don’t even know if he’ll know how to get on it for a while but hopefully he does(I staged the first picture). I like the size also but it’s probably not good for a full sized turtle. And it sticks perfectly to the tank.

Got this for my frogs and newts. It was a little big for my liking so we cut part of it off. Looks and works just as before. The suction has not come off since we got it. We have moved it around and it has always stayed in place.

poor turtle has been swimming for 2 years without rest haha talk about turtle torture! i suppose i should have tried another but they seem all similiar. auction cups, rigid plastic shafts, he tries for 10 minutes to get on top of floating platform then the suction cuos give way and over he goes! ive tried to put him on but he gets scared and jumps off. it has been like this since the start when he was small. i clean the tank sides and suction cups but just dont work so well. i dont know a better solution though but cant give it thumbs up unfortunately

I have a 10g tank & the ledge fits across the width perfectly! The suction did not hold up & the plastic bars were in the way of my slightly bigger turtles out of the water. After desembling, it was fun to watch them surf on the floating platform to get some warm air! I dont know how to rate sheerness other than the presentation of this ledge looks great! Something I'd like to decorate my tank with! It could've been longer though & have clips so you can hook it to the side of the tank instead of using suction cups. That is all...

This is not a very sturdy product. It doesn't stick to the side of the aquarium very well so it frequently floats away. It is also too small for my turtle. If you have very small like 1 to 2-in turtles then it would probably be okay if you found a way to get it to stay inside the glass. The suction cups not sticking to the glass might have something to do with my aquarium or how I fixed it. So I'm not going to discredit it too much for that or for the size, because I should have looked at the dimensions and pulled out a tape measure before purchasing. Purchasing. It's a decent product, if you didn't get it to work right with your setup.

This is a 5 gallon tank. My turtle had a big rock for basking- at first, but as he grew, it gave him less swimming space. I found this suction turtle platform here on Amazon, and it's amazing! My turtle loves it, it gives SO much more space in the tank (will get a bigger tank eventually), and it looks great too! The suction cups work 100% perfectly, and I got a bonus extra suction cup with it too. My turtle didn't go up to bask the first day, about 7pm, that I put this in... but by the same time the next day he(she?) has been loving it. Super glad I purchased this, and I was happy with the price also. Thanks!

This is not meant for a turtle bigger than the size of a small child’s hand. Our turtle does not even fit on half of this platform. If he tried to get on the platform it teetered so much he fell back in the water. This product came in a bag with no instructions or anything. I had to look at the picture to see how it was put on the tank. It is a neat concept but not good for bigger turtles.
