Trumpet Gig Bag 5mm Padded Soft Carrying Case with Single Shoulder Strap

This gig bag offers some protection but nearlyas much as a sturdy case would offer. It willprotect the instrument from bumps and scratchesbut might not offer complete protection if theinstrument is dropped on the bell.

It fits my Jupiter trumpet perfectly. Just no real protection. But it is lightweight and easy to carry

Bought this cuz it was cheap, and I needed to get my cornet to the metal guy- but im redoing my case in the process. The case is supposed to be for a trumpet. I honestly do not see a trumpet fitting.Fyi.

Fits in my backpack with a couple other things in it. The bag is very good quality but the strap it comes with is garbage. The regular handle is really good though. Fit my trumpet nicely and the front pocket is big enough to hold the mouthpiece and all of the oil, grease, and cleaning things you need for daily use.

EDIT AT BOTTOMI like this bag. It's light and compact. I bought it so I could easily take my trumpet on the crowded college bus with me. My old hard case was bulky, heavy, and ugly. Don't expect this gig bag to give as much protection as a hard case. Don't buy it for your kids!!As other reviews mention, there is no padding where the bell is. I tried putting something there for added protection but the bag is so snug that it can't really close well with anything else. I use the pocket for my mouthpiece, valve oil, and valve grease, and there's not much space for anything else. Thats really all the space you need in the pocket though.Tl;DrIt's nice, but don't buy for kids because it does NOT give much protection. The purpose of this bag is simply so you can easily travel with your trumpet so you still have time careful with it.EDIT: The zipper pull came right off a few months after using it regularly. I think its because the stitching wasn't that secure on the end so there was nothing to prevent it from staying on anymore. Kind of sad I can't use the front pocket anymore. Other than that it's still fine.

I sure wish they made these lightweight cases when I was in high school (almost 30 years ago) instead of having to lug around the big, bulky cases. However, I do not feel it would fully protect the trumpet as a hard case would, but it is great for around the house or if I ever take it out to play at church or somewhere (which I have yet to do). All in all I would recommend this case unless you have a child that might be not be extra careful with his/her instrument when toting it to and from school.

It’s a great bag that Ive brought to my band camp during the summer and I use to bring to school. Only issue is, it’s very cheaply made. The main zippers have held up but the side pocket broke a couple weeks after I got it.

So much better than the hard case! Easier to carry and lighter weight. Would recommend
