I used to buy Hunter fans for my home and have always been very pleased with the performance. However pricing has risen quite high for them so I looked for an option. These 46" fans were a surprise in how well thought out the design and installation was. Took less than 10 minutes to install and looked great. Been using them now for 5 months and they are excellent circulators with very convenient controls. The rotation control for the fan direction is built into the remote so you don't have to switch it at the motor as with many fans. No more bed climbing to get to the dusty switch when the seasons change. Lighting intensity and colour temperature are all adjustable to your preference. Their quiet in their operation and have a very wide range of adjustability for such an affordable unit. Easy recommendation for these for sure.

I don't know why I thought they would be bigger. Size is accurate. These fans are quiet at all speeds. A light circulating air on the low setting and a strong breeze on higher setting. The remote is great for convenience. The light options a good as well.

I put it together and it was fairly straightforward with the small exception that some of the installation drawings did not match the parts that I was assembling. Still, I got the gist of it easily and got it together fairly in about an hour... maybe a little longer. I put it up alone which the instructions said not to do. They recommended having two people do the job. While it was a little tricky doing it alone, it wasn't too difficult. My only complaints are that, for having 6 speeds for the fan, it barely changes much between the highest and lowest speeds. Also, the lowest speed is still pretty fast! There are sometimes delays with the remote after changing some settings, so beware. It can take about a half-second to execute a lighting change rather than do it instantly, for instance. For my living room, the lighting is just about perfect! I haven't yet tried the app from my phone, and when I do that, I'll update. As I said, so far, so good! UPDATE - 2-22-2026 - A little over two years since purchase and installation. The fan speeds are still kinda useless in terms of the number, as well as the lowest being too high. I meant to update this a long time ago, but never got around to it. After about 4-6 months, the fan housing started making a grinding sound as if the motor was scraping against the housing. The fan worked intermittently at that point but eventually quit altogether and it is now useless. Also, the one of the buttons on the remote quit working and I now have to press the everything off button to kill the lights. This was not a good fan for me in the end and throwing it away and I'm replacing it ASAP! My star rating is going from 4 to 1...

I wanted a fan with regular bulbs, it cant be found, not nice ones. This one is not so bad it has many options for lighting, and it looks like the bulb could be replaced. For the price just buy it, you wont go wrong.
