Q: How good is the built in bra?

Just so you know. It is no a padded bra but an inner layer of the same material with an elastic underneath the chest to support you boob in place. Very comfortable and great support. Love it It also conceals very well.

Q: I’m a 40g. at its widest circumference my bustline is 50”. will the 2x fit me, or am i out of luck?

I’m a 38D and I got a 2XL and it fits me perfectly.

I wear a 36C bra and a large in a cotton shelf bra from Old Navy. I bought a large from this brand and it was smaller and more fitted. Hope this helps.
