This is the 3rd product I have purchased from Rhino. They make good products that stand up to heavy abuse. This particular shovel is very well built and folds up to a small package great for storing. Its light weight but built well. The case is all black with their logo and fits perfectly into it. I use if on my Argo for outings in the wilderness and camping. They make great products and highly recommend them. I look forward to trying out some of their other things.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Made in USA I reduced by 1 star because the sheath can't be used with the handle folded out which is how this will probably be stored. I have one from WWII my dad used & it's much better. Otherwise, very nice tool. Heavy duty & says made in USA

Awesome shovel. Initially bought for kayak camping as it fits well in my dry hatch when fully folded. It has been handy at the beach as well for messing around in the sand. You do have to rinse out the threaded collar that holds the shovel extended or in the pick position as sand will get in it and grind up in the threads. Solid carrying bag for storage.

Arrived ahead of schedule. The shovel itself is smaller than what I was looking for but the whole kit is a great size for my truck. Does appear to be of good quality material and goes together easily. I plan on buying another for the car.

I bought it for off-roading and emergency use, but it’s come in handy for way more than that — camping trips, digging out of mud, even breaking up frozen ground in winter.The carbon steel feels solid and heavy-duty, not like the flimsy ones you find at big box stores. The folding design makes it super compact, and it fits perfectly in the back of my Jeep. It also comes with a tough carrying case, which is a nice bonus.The pick feature is awesome for breaking up tough soil or rocky ground. I’ve used it to dig fire pits, clear brush, and even clean sand around my tires. It handles all of it with no problem.If you’re into off-roading, camping, or just want a solid emergency tool for your car, this shovel is 100% worth it. Feels like a tool I’ll have for years.

I bought this for my wife to use on our rock hounding trips. It’s great!! It’s compact and has a case. I like that it has the added pick on the opposite side of the shovel head, which is perfect for picking or scooping. It is solidly built and doesn’t feel like it’ll break very easily. All that at a great price!!
