50C to 34C. A must have for high-performance NVMEs
I'm absolutely blown away with the performance of this little NVME cooler. The heat-sink on this thing is MASSIVE in comparison to an actual nvme size and the two thermal strips that go above and below the nvme must do a lot of work in terms of cooling. The heat-sink and cooler itself is surprisingly heavy and the RGB is beautiful. It comes with a tiny screwdriver and installing it is a breeze. Once you place the thermal strips on and unscrew the heatsink, you place the NVME in between the bottom slate and the heat-sink and close it. After that, the nvme becomes one with the heat-sink/cooler and you just install it like normal. The nvme is daisy chain compatible and the fan plugs into any fan slot on the motherboard. I cannot hear the fan at all no matter how close I get to it. When everything is done, the results speak for themselves. 16C drop... unreal. For the price and the performance, it seems like a no brainer. I'd imagine even without the fan, this would drop the temperature like crazy due to the massive heat-sink. The best part of all, it's aesthetically beautiful. It literally looks like a mini-GPU. One of the best computer accessories I've ever purchased.

Keeps your pc cool
4 pin fan control and a 3 pin RGB plug are needed to get the most out of this and the inch or so of clearance above the M.2. Just wanted to get that bit out of the way, compatibility was my worry. That said this thing inspires great confidence. From the secure fit of the screwed in M.2 bay in the heat sink to the snug fit it has inside the fan cool aluminum block and of course the looks, this thing is great. Easy to mount, sticks solid in place, keeps things cool (both looks and temp wise). My only advice is double check you have the physical clearance! This fits my smaller PC no problem but my full ATX board has zero room for it.

Does the job while looking pretty neat!
Confirmed to fit on Asrock Phantom Gaming Z790 ITX Because my PC is watercooled in a smaller case, there’s not much airflow around the CPU socket. The original heatsink was tiny and my front SSD was in the 70°s. Putting this on dropped temps about 15°C! I recommend routing your cables behind and under your GPU. The fan at 30% speed makes a very faint whir but it’s gonna be imperceptible in practical use. RGB is kinda neat to have. Would buy again!

Excellent
This little thing is amazing! The quietest I’ve tried so far definitely recommend this. And the temperatures have been excellent.

Keeps my NVMe at 50C or under especially when playing Star Citizen.
Works a lot better than I expected, was afraid I would have to modify my z790 ROG Hero Maximus motherboard in some way but it ended up fitting just fine. Has great airflow and keeps my Samsung 990 Evo Plus and 970 Evo from getting hot like it use to, they use to get to 70C now when I play Star Citizen they get about 50C or less. Sold construction and good quality. I very much recommend this. I need to get a 3rd asap.

Runs smooth and looks cool
Looks very cool and works well! You do need to calibrate it in the BIOS or what ever software you are using or else it will run loud at 100% always but once you set it up to ramp up as temps go up its nice and quiet

Pretty sweet
Works and looks awesome in my computer. Be careful buying if your m.2 slot is really close to your GPU slot. I had to file down the lock release just a bit to get it to fit

Easy install, 10 degrees c cooler
I bought the arg model. Installed on a wd sn850x 2tb ssd. Reduced temp by 10 degrees C. Over the stock solid heat sink. Back into a good working temp. Ran 4 passes on crystal and was very stable. My system maybe louder than some but it's very quite even maxed out. I have it set at about 70 percent speed. Easy install. I might change out to a different thermal pad just to see if it cools more. I used the secondary cpu fan controller for power, controls speed in bios. Rgb on a vacant slot matches existing lights. Asus b850x mother board Ryzen 9 7900x cpu. I'm not not a extreme gamer but I will install border lands 4 to see how it performs. It is a tight fit but no conflict and sits right above a rtx 7501 gpu. Looks good in the case

Very effective step change to drop temp >10 deg, even on a hot NVMe5 M.2 Drive
I put two of these things on an MSI MEG ACE Z890 mobo, one on a Crucial T705 NVMe5 4TB M.2 drive and the other to replace the factory heatshield on a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB, both 12 months old. The Crucial dropped from 68 to 55 under light load and the Samsung from 66 to 49. Now the NVMe5 drives do run pretty hot but the MSI mobo stock heatsink is a pretty robust static affair, yet this simple, quiet active heatsink has given me a heap of headroom to really get the thing cranking. Previously, I did suffer intermittent bouts of glacial performance during thermal throttling. It is early days, but I am thinking this is a reliable fix for that issue, undoubtedly greatly extending the ssd's life in the interim! Re the Samsung drive, it gets a fair flogging and the factory heatsink is just not getting the job done, totally fixed now. An identical drive, except it is a year older with double the hours and now on archive duty, is still running OK, but even it is at 55 while the newer one is now at 49. These new active heatsinks are a pretty easy install. Tight, but they fit just fine as they are short enough for both the slot connector and rear attachments to work, and a couple of mm wider which makes them tight for adjacent components, but no physical pressure, for my setup anyway. Without messing about with led settings, they produce a breathing rainbow effect through the full colour spectrum, very pleasant! I ordered another one to put on that older 990 Pro, they are pretty easy to take the covers off with a special screwdriver and a guitar pic.

Cheap way to keep your NVMe cool!
Amazing quality and my NVMe is now idling at ~40C instead of >60C and will not go over 60C when using it.
