Unfortunately, the subtle “sugar substitute-metallic-leafy aftertaste” is quite apparent after the pleasant initial flavor. I’m generally ok with this trade off. But it is more noticeable than some other “low sugar” products to do add small amounts of cane sugar to offset this aftertaste. 2. Options (up to 1 star): 1/1 stars for options. Good flavor variety to choose from. 3. Price (up to 2 stars): 1/2 stars for price. I realize the ingredients simply cost more than lucky charms (+1 star). But this price is excessive (-1 star). I’ll give credit where it’s due: the cereal was crunchy as promised, and the nutrition profile is solid — lots of fiber, good protein content, and no sugar. That’s all great on paper.
