Best value I've found for knock around glasses
So, I probably have a couple hundred pair of sunglasses purchased over the last 20 years. For a while it was all oakley, vonzipper, spy, etc. But the last 5 years I'm more of an aviator style guy - rayban, maui jim - at least when sports/activities are not involved. I'm always in need of some inexpensive knock around glasses to leave in my car, wear to the beach, forget at a friends house, etc. For a while my go-to was the foster grants when they were on sale, but I found them to delaminate in the heat when left in the car. On a whim, I gave these Sungait glasses a try since I really liked the flat bottom style. I purchased my first pair in gunmetal gray since it would go with just about everything. After spending a few days with them, I was convinced the frames and lenses were much better quality than other similarly priced non-brand name glasses, even those costing 30 to 50 bucks or more. I picked up the other two colors, so now I have all three options for less than the price of a single pair of glasses I'd normally buy. While the lenses are very clear, and polarization is great, I will say there is some slight aberration as the lenses bend near the frame, but its so subtle and so far in the periphery its a total non-issue. Raybans or Mauis wouldn't have that issue, but they're also ten time as expensive. That aside, I found the frames to be sturdy and well constructed, with an obvious high degree of precision fit and finish in the hinges. I did have to bend the nose pieces just a touch to get a better fit for my face, but that's simple enough. Over all, I'm very happy with these glasses. I've yet to find a better value for my money, and suspect I wont find one for quite some time.

Good for motorcycle riding
These are good for motorcycle riding because they easily fit under my helmet. The thin temple pieces don't squish my head, compared to my larger Ray Bans with thick temple pieces. They are UV resistant.Yellow color is good for riding in bad weather or at dusk. I'm not sure what the lenses are made of, but they seem impact resistant enough. They're polarized in a weird way that changes when I tilt my head. Not a big deal though. Good sunglasses for the price.

Competes with much more expensive brands!
I normally don't write reviews, but these sunglasses deserve praise.During my forty-four years in uniform I exclusively wore American Optical aviators. Wonderful glasses. However, to celebrate recent successful bilateral eye surgery I splurged on a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses ($261). They're terrific. Then, looking for a less expensive back-up pair I stumbled on Sungait. I wouldn't have bought the M. Jim glasses if I had found these first. The Sungaits are lightweight, but not cheap feeling, nor cheap looking. Spring temples hold just right. The polarization is perfect. The price and warranty are wonderful, too. Sooo, I bought a second pair of Sungaits, different model, same results. Couldn't be happier.Suggestion: I always make sure the temple screws are tight (no matter the brand) then put a drop of clear fingernail polish on each of them. They're easy enough to remove if you have to. Haven't lost a temple screw in 4 decades of hard use. (Don't use industrial thread locker, and don't get the lacquer on the frame finish or the lenses.)

Wow! What really knocks me out is the (cheap) Sun Glasses!
Sorry ZZ, but had to say it! I am really amazed! I am blown away!Needed polarized glasses just to help with driving. You know sunglasses get lost, scratched or otherwise. I had no need to go in the Ray-ban territory!Pro:- good quality build- the ‘Aviation’ style is great! There are (new &) a bit tight for my big head, but sexy! [I expect them to loosen up with use]. They do look good! Wife thinks I look great (but she is bias).- comes with a ‘polarized’ checker card to prove that function as polarized. The Tint is not overpowering.- will packaged with a microfiber pouch and a coupon for another product pair too!I love them! A really great value! [this is the Truth!]. I have paid more and have gotten less!If you are in the market, then don’t think twice!

Why Spend More? The Best is Affordable!
Just having read Wirecutter’s reviews of sunglasses, I followed the link over to Amazon to see for myself. Sungait’s glasses are Wirecutter’s top pick, and man they are spot on!The glasses I bought are stylish, but not too “fashiony” so I don’t look like I stepped out of some ad for men under age 45.They are very well-made, and as advertised, can be adjusted if needed. The fit is perfect. The lenses are dark enough and polarized. At any price, these glasses are a solid value; compared to other big name brands, they are far above. You don’t need to spend $150- $250 for good sunglasses. These are comparable or better quality in every way and far less expensive.Highly recommended!

OK aviators that you shouldn't worry about losing or breaking
Looks cool in the pictures, but they sit out in front of my face more than I was hoping. (I was hoping for better sun protection w/ the lenses closer to my skin). Also, the lenses scratched and I had to re-bend the frame a couple times. I'll splurge on a more rugged/reliable pair in the future.
