My new obsession.
I think I’ve found my new matcha staple. This is the best matcha I’ve had and it’s going to be difficult for anything to impress me this much. The color is a vibrant green with no signs of oxidation and the texture is silky smooth almost melting at your fingertips. The aroma is floral and nutty with a subtle sweetness. This is a versatile matcha that could work with fruity notes or something more decadent. As an Usucha, it’s very earthy and slightly bitter, but in a good way. It’s not overpowering and it would be great with some sweetness to balance the flavor profile. I think this would also be insanely delicious as a matcha lemonade. As a latte this is kind of a masterpiece. I used a homemade strawberry syrup with milk and I’m fighting the urge for another glass. This matcha is SO refreshing that even in latte form you feel like you never want to get to the last sip. There is a hint of astringency but it benefits the flavor profile and elevates the experience. It is very floral and sweet as a latte which I love and has absolutely no fishy or seaweed flavor but has a mild and balanced umami that you almost miss because of how well balanced this matcha is. I also get some citrus notes towards the end.Overall this is a smooth and refreshing matcha that leaves you feel satisfied.

It smells like heaven, is vibrant green, blends perfectly, and tastes delicious and not bitter!!
Matcha has been all the craze, and as a newbie I had no idea there was so much information online regarding matcha powders. I know it’s apart of Japanese culture, so there’s a lot of history and tradition surrounding it, but on apps like Tik Tok it’s become so popular that it’s created its own separate massive community. I knew it was trendy, but not THAT trendy. Honestly, all I wanted was a matcha latte and I thought making it at home would be simple…but no…I had to use my college level research skills to figure out what powder to even get. It seems like 95% of the matcha powders are sold out because of their popularity, and so it was really hard trying to find recommended powders without spending a lot of money, waiting for long shipping, or stalking websites for restocks…which I really didn’t want to deal with. So, to all of you reading this who are in the same boat, this is a great matcha powder. Buy it!!I made my first drink and absolutely loved it. I can’t handle bitterness and experienced no bitterness with this powder, so if you hate bitter things you’ll love this! (Recommendation: whisk the matcha with cold/room temperature water or milk to make it less bitter! Also, using milk makes it super creamy and sweet tasting. I used oat milk!) There are some reviews saying it smells bad, but I think the powder smells insanely good. When it’s mixed in with a liquid it does smell more earthy, but it doesn’t translate to the taste at all. To me it smells sweet with a nice earthy/floral and nutty tone that isn’t too strong, but just right. The color is a very vibrant green which apparently means it’s higher quality. I had no issues with clumpiness when mixing the powder either.Overall, I’m super happy and super relieved. I was worried it would be bitter and I would not like it, but it’s absolutely delicious. I’m happy I found something that is actually in stock and a decent price for the size, while being super high quality and fairly perfect in all aspects. I can’t wait to experiment with it more!!Also stop overthinking and just buy this matcha powder. If you don’t you’ll end up in a never ending matcha powder research loop like I did.

Solid but pricey
Foamed well and color was bright green. Tastes light and floral with no bitterness or astringency (3g matcha with 40ml water and 70ounce milk)But taste wasn’t as bold or robust as some other cheaper Amazon alternatives 20-25 dollars for the same size tin

True Japanese Matcha Powder - Best Amazon Matcha I’ve Tried
I am a religious matcha drinker and would say I am relatively picky with my matcha. When I first purchased this matcha powder, it was purely a blind buy as I was looking for decently authentic ceremonial matcha from Japan through Amazon. However, this matcha powder has exceeded my expectations. It has a smooth, umami flavor with minimal bitterness and medium richness levels. It tastes great with oat milk and holds a vibrant green color even as a latte. Highly recommend!

WOW!
What a great Matcha!!I don’t ever write reviews, but this matcha was so delicious I had to share my thoughts. I’ve been obsessed with Matcha for over 10 years now, so I am pretty picky about what I like. I prefer my matcha fragrant, velvety, and a right balance of sweet with umami. This Matcha (The gold one) hit all the notes for me. I prepared a latte and it was perfect. It’s 1st harvest and stone grounded, so it’s maintained its quality. I did a lot of research to find a great matcha at a decent price point, and this one met all my criteria! I think the size is great for the quality and price point. The seal and metal container will help maintain the freshness. My energy feels stabilized and I didn’t have a terrible caffeine crash after drinking it. 10/10!- I feel like this matcha has a little notes of grass, nuts, and is semi sweet.

High quality and smooth
Ive tried a lot of matchas and this one is genuinely so rich and smooth, it’s not watered down by any means, it’s also very strong and nutty. Also its 40g which is more than a typical matcha tin, anyhow its 10/10.

It’s okay
This matcha is not bad, it’s a vibrant green color and whisks well. I will say the taste isn’t that great. It’s a bit “fishy” and also grainy. It’s a good budget and stater matcha. I used this to make matcha chia seed pudding and that tasted wonderful.
