SHOKZ OpenMeet Open-Ear Bluetooth Headset, Noise-Canceling Mic+Mute Button

Fit great. Work and sound great. I will admit if you lean over they can fall off, but you can wear them with glasses without any discomfort.

These are great in many ways, sound is clear (both listening to music and microphone for conferences), range is great, battery charges fast and lasts all day, multiple hosts works fine (ie computer and phone) etc. Main downside (and why only four stars) is that if I bend over they fall off my head.

Purchased as a replacement for the 3+yr-old over-the-ears pro-grade headset specifically to have my ears open during my very long work days online. I also have 2 sets of OpenRuns - for phone only. Got tired of having the OpenRun and the over-ear headset on. The OpenMeet was selected specifically to try multiport-connecting so that I could use just one headset during the day. For that I also purchased the dongle (~$40.00) - my market research assured me that the Shokz' app will work wonders: it was told to be able to prioritize the computer audio OVER the phone audio (normally it is the other way around). For me that was KEY: my calls come through the computer, and they cannot be interrupted by incoming stray phone calls. I ordered an overnight delivery of the headset on Amazon (urgently needed it), and the dongle was ordered from Shokz directly. Amazon screwed up the delivery (2 days) which cost me another $25 at least: Amazon did not offer the headset WITH the dongle, and Shokz' delivery of the bundle was 4-5 business days, so I thought that the price difference was OK - specifically because of the overnight delivery by Prime... Here is what you should know about the product. PROs: - The headset's size is OK for the size of my head (XL), although it falls off easily because there is not enough footprint on the head as with over--ears headset, plus the steel overhead arch is too heavy.. - The mike is very sensitive. - Noise cancelling seems to work OK. - Open-ear is much easier on your ears if you have to wear the headset all day. - Incoming sound quality is good for me - both - music and voices. - The distance from the dongle that I've tested is at least 100 feet - GREAT!!! That's for the earphones. CONs: - Forget about the marketing crap regarding the promised PC+smartphone connection and PC prioritization. The headset can do JUST ONE DEVICE with confidence. No traceable pattern of which one it will choose. For no obvious reason it is ONE of the two - and you never know which one it is gonna be this time!!! Sometimes it holds both connections, though. Can't figure it out, really. - Your voice's sound quality is 6-7 out of 10 - a bit muffled, as if you're talking thru a pillow at your lips.. - The application on the phone seems to be just an overhead - NO PRACTICAL use has been found. And I did look for it. Good for nothing. - The dongle's performance is difficult to assess: the tiny brochure just gives you 8 colors of the LED on the dongle without explaining anything. - The microphone holds ONLY WITHIN a few feet if there ARE NO Obstacles - any obstacles, like the cheap cardboard doors for instance.

I purchased this headset to see if the noise canceling mic works as advertised. I can say for sure that it does. I work in a busy call center. We use the Nice voip client. The headphones just work and completely eliminate background noise. They take a little bit of time to get used to, they are not for an active environment as they would easily fall off if they were used while running but that’s not what they were designed for.

Sounds great. Microphone sucks. No one can hear me on the other end. Nice concept but poor execution. Will be returning. OpenMeet but can't complete a meeting. Also slips off frequently due to design. I have OpenRun pros that work better than these.

Excellent in every way except the one that matters most - the fit. These are great headphones - crisp sound quality and super noise cancelling microphone but they unfortunately are just too big and slide every time I move my head. It's unfortunate that Shokz would design such an excellent device without taking this into consideration.

First things first, the fit is very loose. I have a big head, I can easily acknowledge that fact. My head is big. These are still a little loose, so if you have a smaller head, buyer beware. That is the reason for the one star deduction. That said, they are comfortable and do not put any undue pressure anywhere on my head like some others. Now for everything else. They sound good and the ease of use is very intuitive. They connected easily to both my phone and my laptop and while on my laptop I was able to walk the length of our office floor (about 60 feet with my laptop right in the middle) and stay connected. So the range is more than acceptable. The battery life is acceptable since I wore them for about 3 hours of meetings and only dropped by about 20% which would factor out to about 15 hours, which my work day is never that long.

I have to give this product a five-star rating because of how it performs and how comfortable and light weight it is. I was very disappointed due to the fact that it did NOT come with a dongle, however it did connect very easily to my work laptop. I work 12 hour days, and it has not failed me yet. I wear glasses and hearing aids which makes this product even better than the other wireless headsets that i have had in the past. Don't waste your money on the other ones. Buy these unless you have a small head.

Crisp voice sound for conference call and block background noises perfectly. Very lightweight and it fit my head perfectly, no issue of no grip as other mentioned

Headset works but these “new’ headphones box and carrier case were full of moths. Absolutely disgusting.

I have been a long time user of Shokz bone conduction and have always admired the technology tremendously and these are no different, sound quality is excellent both recieved and transmitted. Battery life is very good. My only gripe(and why I haven't given this review 5 starts) is the fit. They are very comfortable but also very loose. You don't have to move your head much before they slip, even with the largest pads on(which should give the tightest fit).
