To my fellow novice...
I'm a southern city slicker but I've had good luck with these seeds, despite that. I have had some trouble with the cooler weather plants because I got a late start and it's already hot here but they've all come up. I haven't planted anything that didn't germinate, so far.I have had gardens before but I'm still pretty much a novice. If you fall into this category, what has helped me so much is finding an agricultural seeding and harvesting PDF from a local State University. It told me an exact window of when to either start seeds inside or plant them directly into the ground.I strongly encourage you not to think of this as a weekend project. Getting the garden ready is weekend #1. Then sit down with one of these seed guides and a calendar and write down when to plant your seeds, when to transfer them (if applicable) and when to expect them to be ready to eat. This sounds like a lot, and it is up front, but it will ultimately save you so much time and yield better results. I've found this process to be much smoother and less overwhelming and next year I'll already have everything written down.I found an electric tiller on here which was also available at my local hardware store. I have a gas powered one but it's honestly such a beast and it's so hard to keep it running. The new one is less powerful but so much better for me to handle. I just went over it a few times and it was perfectly fine. I don't know if I'm allowed to link it but it was a 13.5 amp in the 125 range. The only thing that would make this pack better would be a little more variety in tomato seeds.

I planted a tiny herb forest at my duplex.
The oregano, lavender and mints are harder to grow, but with enough care is possible.I had a great experience with both the 30 set and 15, while some seeds are harder to grow, they all will germinate.I ended up with two lavender plants out of all the seeds, and I’m attempting oregano for the third time in my grow trays, first time did not sprout, second did but died from transplant. This time I have a few already sprouting after three days and I’m sure I will end up with many oregano plants. It’s my fault, not the seeds. And lavender is 100% a huge pain in the butt, ask anyone. They just need a lot of care when they start and I was also sprouting tomato’s and cucumbers too.I would suggest, from my own experience over many years growing plants from seed, all the herbs grow best in grow trays with potting soil or organic potting soil. I won't use any germination tray with a dirt disc or a premade mix. I use either miracle grow potting soil or back to the roots in a germination tray. Miracle grow gives bigger, stronger seedlings, while back to the roots will make smaller plants with bigger root systems. No major difference overall once fully grown. So, a seed tray with decent soil will help the germination rate of all these herbs darn near 100%. But again, a few types such as oregano, lavender and mints need a little extra tlc, but overall, I’ll buy it again and again simply because they are fun to grow and look beautiful in my backyard. Also delicious..

Affordable and mine sprouted on day 3!!!
These are affordable and my bag came with TONS of seeds! Thank you! I planted mine on 5/19/2025 and I do like to plant a few seeds TOGETHER in 1 spot and already on day 3- 5/21/2025 they are sprouting through the dirt! It's incredible how fast they sprouted! I put them in a planter on my balcony because I do not have a backyard so I am curious to see how well they do. My balcony faces East so it gets a good amount of the morning sun up until about... 12 PM when the sun starts to be a little further behind us. I soak the soil daily in the mornings and it's just thriving and moving along very well. VERY impressed and I shall update when they get larger :) THANK YOU

Fast germination
So far so good. I planted cantaloupe, radish, green bean, carrots, and peppers on Monday into a seed starting tray with seed starter soil filling the cavities. The tray sits on a warming mat and has the clear plastic cover that comes with the tray on top. A grow light is on 12 hours a day and it is next to a source of natural light as well. All those seeds were planted Monday and here on Friday i have most of the cantaloupe seeds already sprouting and several of the radish seeds as well. I still have weeks before i can put them outside, but the fast germination is a good sign for the viability of the rest of the seeds

Perfect Starter Set for My Son’s First AeroGarden!
I got the HOME GROWN 15 Culinary Herb Seeds pack as a gift for my son’s first AeroGarden, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The variety is fantastic—everything from basil and parsley to dill and cilantro—so he had a great time experimenting with different herbs. The seeds sprouted quickly, and the germination rate was impressive. It made his first indoor gardening experience fun, educational, and really rewarding. He’s now hooked on growing his own herbs, and we’ve even started using them in our meals! This set is a wonderful gift for beginners and budding green thumbs. Highly recommend for anyone starting out with an AeroGarden or indoor herb garden!

Fast growing, great results, must buy!
Bought to use in my hydroponic garden. IN LOVE ❤️ definitely recommend, I had some extra seeds from putting them in my hydroponic garden, so I planted them in some dirt.. not even expecting them to work and 3 out of 4 have already started growing! My cat knocked the scallion plant over and everything and it's still alive! They are beautiful, you get so many different varieties or herbs, you will be satisfied!

All mamoth sunflower seeds sprouting quickly and growing fast.
Mammoth sunflower seeds rolled up in wet paper towels on a zip lock baggie in the window Wednesday night and had solid sprouts by Sunday night, by the next Wednesday morning they grew more than I expected already and I transferred them to the ground. I'll update with pics in a few months but so far I'm impressed!

Good success in hydroponic.
I've propagated every plant but the cilantro which regardless of how many times I tried none worked. The basil and oregano propagate easily at maybe 70%, the other seeds are maybe 40 to 50%. But overall I'm pretty satisfied. My pizza and pasta have never tasted as good with store bought herbs.
