Long, detailed review after the first hatch
First of all, this incubator is great for a simple, auto-turning machine. It's not a state of the art professional one, but it's not like it claims to be one. It was easy to use, and I had a successful hatch. Here are the details: It was very easy to set up, and the instructions were easy to follow. Do not throw away the styrophoam because it's meant as optional insulation. Set up the first round of my own 18 barnyard mix eggs. Temperature stayed consistent (I didn't go crazy with secondary thermometers - just went with what the machine said). Humidity took a little playing around with - between closing off or opening the vent and the 2nd bottle slot, and having a fan blow by to decrease humidity on more humid days. The incubator auto-regulates the temperature, but not the humidity, so you just have to go into it with a realistic expectation. The candler is not great because it does not seal against the egg well, and let's a lot of light leak around it, so I used a candler I purchased earlier. I candled the eggs on day 7, and they were all viable. So far so good. On day 9, the incubator started beeping and flashing on and off. By trying to plug it onto some other ill-fitting adapters that I had lying aroind, I figured out that the problem was most likely the power supply cord, and not the incubator itself. At that point it was too late to save the eggs, and I didn't have a power supply that would in fact work appropriately. I emailed the company about the adapter, and they literally responded within 2 hours, even though it was late at night. They said that they narrowed down the problem to a small batch of defective adapters, and they they could either refund me, or send me a replacement adapter. I opted for replacement adapter, and got a shipping notification the next morning. While waiting for USPS to deliver it via snail mail, I ordered a different compatible adapter through prime, figuring the replacement was could then be a back up. Once I received the compatible adapter, I started another batch of 18 eggs, and the incubator was working like nothing happened. The weather got very humid tho, so I moved the incubator to the bedroom where I could keep the ambient humidity down with the air conditioner. If you unplug the incubator and plug it back in, it just picks up right where it left off in the day count, but starts the 2 hour egg turning cycle over, so in the future I waited until it was almost time to turn again before I would unplug it and plug it back in, so as not to turn the eggs excessively. Since it was chilly in the bedroom (64-70F), I put the styrophoam insulator around the incubator to help keep the temperature consistent. The incubator lived in the bedroom until day 18. Btw, day 7 candling showed all 18 eggs viable, and day 14 candling showed 17 viable eggs and one death ring that I estimate stopped developing around day 10. On day 18, the egg turner stopped like it was supposed to, and I opened the lid just long enough to remove the egg turner. Since the humidity level needs to be significantly higher in the last 4 days, I moved the incubator back downstairs where there's no AC, took off the insulation, and just watched the humidity as before. It said to attach both water bottles with water, but I found that with the weather it was too high, so I played around with one bottle, no bottle, and fan blow-by as needed. On day 20 the eggs started hatching one by one. After about 8 hatched, it became a little crowded, so I quickly pulled out the empty shells. Didn't seem to bother anything, especially since it was so humid. By day 21, 13 chicks hatched - 12 healthy and 1 with a fatal defect. I moved the babies to the brooder as soon as they were all dry and fluffy. I left the remaining 4 eggs in the incubator for a other 24 hours, then candled them for any movement (there was none) and then removed them. The incubator was easy to take apart and clean, and it is now set up with 3 more viable eggs that spent their first 10 days under a hen. The incubator has an option to set number of days til hatch, so I put it down to 12, and it will stop turning on day 9, which will be 4 days before hatch. I would definitely buy this incubator again and would recommend it to someone who is a hobby chicken farmer. Nothing too fancy, but certainly gets the job done with not too much fuss.

If you want to use more than once, don't use this one!
Bought this incubator to hatch out some baby chickens. Worked great for the first hatching like it should up till the very end. I had a couple of eggs that had not hatch on day 22 so I planned to leave them in there a couple of extra days. Went to check on them the morning of day 23, the incubator screen was blank, nothing was working and it was beeping and flashing the candling light. Unplugging and replugging did nothing and now I'm left with a broken incubator that cannot be fixed or returned. Research other brands, I do not recommend this one!

It works fine and most of the critical reviews here can be easily fixed with some simple changes.
I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews - those folks are doing it wrong. In our modern "push a button and forget" society, we think that everything should be 100% automated. If you want that, buy the $500 incubator. This one is pretty simple but is easy to control the temperature and humidity with great accuracy. Is your temperature all over the place as some reviewers are writing? SEND IT BACK and get another one. Amazon has a 30 day return window - send it back! Upwards of 10% of ALL products out of China have poor quality control. Your;s is broken? Don't cry, send it back and get one from the 90% that work. Better yet, order a new one today and when it arrives, then send back the broken one. Get a thermometer and check the internal temperature (I used the laser thermometer). Is your incubator temperature off? Then adjust the temp up or down until the verified thermometer reads the correct temperature. For the humidity control - you simply have to upside down water beakers that introduce water to the incubator. More water = more humidity. There is also a little vent at the top; closed = less humidity, open = less humidity. Use the vent and water level to control your humidity. I read some reviews that said no matter what, their incubator was too dry - perhaps they live in an arid environment (Arizona comes to mind) - put a bit of painters tape around the base where the glass connects to the base to help hold in some of the humidity. Other reviewers said too much humidity - one reviewer said they put the lid on crooked and it landed right on the correct humidity. Correct answer! If yours is too humid, put a toothpick between the base and the glass to let some humidity out. Still too humid? Add another toothpick to the other side - work it until you get the humidity you need. We fiddled with the water and found our humidity point. We need to add just a little water every day but that's the price for the budget appliance. Our temperature read close to the laser so we're good there. All of the other features work well, the egg rotator is nice and slow, tumbles the eggs gently. For the price, we're quite pleased. We add eggs as we find them, I'm buying a 2nd to use when the eggs get to their final days so that I can have eggs of multiple dates in the primary machine and those in their final days are moved to the 2nd machine.

Stopped Working After One Week Lost 18 Fertile Eggs
The incubator looks very nice and arrived with all the promised parts included. The design is attractive and everything seemed complete at first glance. However, after only one week of use, the unit stopped working properly. It began blinking continuously and would no longer maintain operation. As a result, I lost 18 fertile eggs, which was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I expected better reliability, especially for a product that is meant to handle something as time-sensitive and delicate as egg incubation. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.
