These are super strong, and roll like the wind - whatever that means... I built two devices that I want to roll super easily and not be huge in size. These are perfect. If I did want to use the brakes (which I don't) they are worthless. The brakes don't lock down, but will brake as long as pressure is steadily applied. Fine - I don't need brakes, and in fact, wish I could remove them, but they're built in and only do a good job of getting in the way by being extended. I bought a couple of sets, and would buy again. They work great, as long as you don't want to lock the wheels!

I replaced caster wheels on my living room table to these. It was a great replacement. I purposely chose them a bit higher than the current ones because the older ones tend to gather alot of dirt around the wheels and make it harder to clean. These are sturdy and having the lock is a bonus.

I got this to make a little plastic tub into a baby rider. I put my grandbaby and gently push him around and he loves it. I initially bought 1" cast not realizing how his weight would affect the efficiency of the casts and these 2" casts are perfect. Very durable and rolls very smoothly. They look great and it was easy to install.

Not as “heavy duty” as I want but they serve its purpose and hey, they haven’t fallen off yet or caused my 6 bike vertical stand to come crashing down upon a random child in my garage.

I installed this set of 4 casters with included heavy-duty screws on a very heavy (about 200 pounds) workbench in my garage. The locking mechanism is unique in that it's 2-way - a brake on the wheel, plus a tooth that engages a sprocket just under the mounting plate to prevent the wheel from swiveling. So far, so good - my workbench now glides easily across the floor with just a minimal push.
