If you're looking for a really nice lifting strap that is certified for a great price then you cant beat this. The first thing I noticed was how silky smooth. I felt compelled to wear it as a scarf for a while. I got the 5-Ton 2M strap and im very happy with it. The stitching is all done very nicely and the strap has a waterproof rating tag attached. This is certianly a very great brand of lifting strap.

For a little over thirty bucks, this sling is a great deal. We do a good deal of logging on our acreage but we generally steel rope and chains for that work. However, is does come in very handy on the sawmill when we are moving decent joists, etc, that we don't want to be marred by chain twists or rope burn.These are also really handy around anything that you don't want damaged, like lifting engines or transmissions, or anything awkward. Just check first how the load is going to sit before committing to a lift. I would also highly recommend the use of load socks, or at least pieces of leather or tough denim or similar to put in any area that may be sharp and could cause damage to the sling. In my working life i have seen a new twenty-thousand (yes) sling ruined on its first lift by getting cut on a sharp edge. So be aware. And always inspect them before any lift.No, these aren't OSHA slings, but they work great for the price, and i am glad to have them.

This appears to be a very well made sling. It is seamless construction with robust, double stitching where it is joined together, and an 11,020 pound, safety factored load rating. It is a true 6.5 foot length, with a 13 foot circumference, should you need to wrap around something that big I infrequently have to lift large truck axles, cylinder heads, etc., and I have had occasion to lift medium sized machine tools. I usually use chains, and, or ratchet straps. There is always the risk of slippage and damage from chains. This sling should be much better for those lifts, likely reducing the chance of chain to metal slippage, and be far less likely to cause cosmetic damage to the machines. I can also see where it will be much easier to rig the lift and avoid damaging components due to the flexible nature of a polyester sling. It gives you various options for lift configurations, as long as you bear in mind some of them reduce the lift capacity of the sling, and a few increase it. The only con I can forsee is the possibility of cutting damage from sharp edges, but a little common sense, and proper planning should negate most of those hazards. I only gave it four stars due to the fact that I haven't used it yet, and I'm uncertain of it's useful longevity. I will post an addendum to this review after I have had the opportunity to put it to use.

Not so sure about the safety of this sling. The sling I received did not have an inspection tag or weight rating certification info attached nor any manufacturer information. Only recommendation I would have is to not trust any product that lacks necessary information, especially when your safety is involved.

Nice strap for what i needed it for, this is my to go for the project i had for it. very well made and very resistant to brake cleaner, easy to clean worth buying, I haven't tested it at its full capacity but i really don't need to for what i wanted it for

I am so pleased to have this sling. It is the perfect rating for any job except commercial construction. This sling is meticulously constructed and should last for many years. I've included some photos to illustrate its capabilities. The strap/sling is very versatile and has a multitude of uses. For use with one sling this would be used as a choker, which I included two photos of. To basket sling you would need two. This would not be used for bar joist or heavy beams, but for everyday rigging and picking this sling works well. I didn't experience any stretch to the sling, but as a retired 40-year union ironworker I can say that with careful inspection before each use that this sling is intended for light residential use.

I actually use the sling strap for off-road purposes and pulling and towing vehicles. Very strong and well-made. I've towed my brothers 4800 class King of the hammers truck out of a ditch with this and I was very impressed at its strength! I've used it several times now and there's no indication of fraying or damage. Also being a bright color it's very easy to see in the bed of a truck. And being a endless sling it doesn't get tangled easily with other items that might be floating in the back of my truck bed. Very happy with it
