WoodstockW1036 6-Inch by 10-Foot Wire Hose

We have lots of trees around our home, so when autumn arrives and leaves start to rain down on us, cleaning them up becomes an ongoing process until the trees are empty. So we bought a used Agri-Fab leaf vacuum to attach to our zero turn mower. After some modifications, it worked great except that the hose kept coming off. That's when we ordered the Woodstock see-through 10-foot wire hose at Amazon. It was half the price others wanted so we were a little concerned that it might be flimsy. It arrived quickly and seemed pretty sturdy. My husband attached it, (it was the perfect length), and it worked perfectly all through fall cleanup. Plus, the idea that you can see through the hose makes it easy to see the location of a stick or clog up. We had no clog ups so didn't have to deal with that. It worked great at half the price, and we're happy...autumn cleanup is done!

I needed a new hose for an old Trac Vac I bought used several years ago. The old hose was breaking apart and getting to short. This hose works well and the price was good. I was guessing the old hose was probably somewhere around 7'-8' long originally. I used the entire 10' length of this hose. As I make turns with my tractor the hose extends and contracts as I hoped it would. It appears it should hold up well, only time and use will tell.

I purchased this to replace the hose that connects a mower deck to an 8.5hp tow behind lawn vac. I use it for mowing and spring cleanup of my 1 acre yard.- this includes leaves and small branches from 50+ oak trees. It only lasts about 2-3 years - currently it has many holes in it from wear caused by debri flowing inside it. Time to replace again.. It is very flexible, won't crush easily, and works well - other than the poor wear resistance. I will again look for a thicker one but they are difficult to find, over triple the cost, and will probably not last 3 times longer. I may be able to cut it down and get another year out of it.. If it's only grass flowing through it - it may last a bit longer. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 'cause it's the most cost effective solution I found.

This hose is absolutely fantastic! It's super durable, made of metal and plastic. I'm really happy with it.

Replaced a black rubber Scag deck to bagger hose with this, about 3' long. I live in a wooded area so small sticks and acorns are common to mow up and bag. This was doing well for the job until a few sticks decided to perforate the vinyl hose section, so not nearly as tough as a black rubber version. Half the price however.

I needed new hoses for my DR Lawn Leaf Vac. These hoses fit the bill perfectly. They are somewhat lighter duty than the originals, but are also 1/4 the cost. I am sure I will get several years of service with these though, so I am happy I found them here on Amazon. You will really have to stretch them out to get the full 10', so plan accordingly. I needed two 8 footers and trimmed only 1' off each hose. Nice product and great price.

Purchased to replace Agri-fab Lawn Vac hose. It is more flexible than the OEM hose which makes it work better with my zero turn mower. Also works better when using it as a vac hose without the mower. Inside is not as smooth as the OEM's, but that did not seem to be a problem with leaves. Not as sturdy or stiff as the OEM hose.

I purchased this hose in 2016 for a home built lawn vacuum system to tow behind my riding lawn mower. I have now used this product for 3 fall and spring seasons along with some cleanup after several hurricanes here in Florida. I recommend this product for connecting your riding lawn mower to a vacuum unit. The hose works extremely well with leaves and small twigs even though it makes several bends between the mower deck and the vacuum. During hurricane cleanup, it was subjected to sticks and branches since it was easier to mow over them than pick them up. The hose stood up to the abuse without a single tear. I would have given it 5 stars, except that it does clog periodically when mowing over sticks and branches while turning. The turning makes the hose bend at a more acute angle allowing the sticks to get caught in the ridges. Overall, a great product.
