I was skeptical, but it definitely works
I am a 61-year-old woman, and my hair has been thinning for several years. I used to have a lot of very thick hair, so the thinning wasn't noticeable to anyone but myself. Then a few months ago I suddenly noticed drastic hair loss in my temple area. My front hairline also became thin, so you could see my scalp through the hair. I started to have to style my hair to hide the loss, avoiding certain hair styles like pony tails and updos that exposed my bald temples. I did a lot of research on how to address this, and found the iRestore on Amazon. It was expensive, but I figured if it worked it would be a lot cheaper than going to my dermatologist for treatment. I was skeptical that it would be the magic bullet I wanted, but thought I'd try it before I went in for more expensive medical treatments.I've been using the iRestore for almost two months. I also use Rogaine for women once a day (the directions are to use it twice), and I take the Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin, and Nails gummy vitamins that have biotin. I've been using different hair-loss shampoos as well, Bosley Defense and Pronexa alternately. I thought the shotgun approach would be the best way to address the problem.I'm happy to say that my hair is regrowing beautifully. I'm no longer self conscious about my hair style. I have lots of new baby hair coming in, and it's my natural dark color, not white like a lot of my hair is. I give most of the credit to the iRestore helmet; I've tried Rogaine for women in the past with little result, but this time around my hair is really responding.I would highly recommend this product for women in my situation, I've told all my friends about the iRestore, and once I open the door to this conversation it turns out that every single one of my 50's and 60's-aged friends have noticed enough hair loss to raise concerns. The price seems a little high, but in my opinion it's a small price to pay for incredible hair regrowth as well as not having to see the doctor about it.The helmet is really easy to use. It's comfortable and the controller works great. I sit down and relax with a glass of wine and a book and I really look forward to those 25 minutes every other day! I like that you can pause the timer and get up and do something if you have to, then resume the timer when you can sit back down.I know everyone will probably have different results, but for me the iRestore is working beautifully and allowing me to regain the thick, luxurious head of hair I had when I was younger. I started out skeptical, but no longer. For me at least, this product was the magic bullet I was looking for!I should probably add that on the iRestore website, the helmet is on sale for $200 off for two more days. The normal website price is $695, so normally Amazon is a better deal, but until January 31 they are offering a $200 coupon.

Very helpful customer support
Still in initial phase of using this so we are not sure of how well it works. The customer service team has been very helpful and responsive. We needed the large head pads and they handled our request and shipped them right out. It’s very easy to use and we’re looking forward to seeing some positive hair growth.

Horrific Shedding - I am devasted
I started using this product on 9.9.20 as directed and ended use 11.11.20 due to the amount of hair loss ("shedding") experienced. I purchased this product after being sold by the rhetoric that this device would reverse hair loss. I never even heard of or thought to ask whether this product would cause "shedding" until it started to happen. A lot. In wrestling with the decision to continue or stop usage I realized that this thing causes you to feel as if you might have been so close to break through if you would just keep going while at the same time your hair is falling out with no relief in sight. My hair feels thin, weak and sensitive. I can actually see through my hair to my scalp where I didn't before and the crown of my head is exposed because of the unexpected hair loss since using this device (see pics). When I realized how much hair I loss in the short amount of time using it and the very thought of having to continue usage for another 4 months in hopes of seeing results my heart filled with dread and my mind with fear. Thoughts of me with a few strands of hair left by the 6 month mark with little baby hairs in bald spots I didn't have before alarmed me. I couldn't sleep and started to cry until I made the decision the next day to discontinue usage. Folks, if I would have known about the excess shedding there is absolutely no way I would have purchased this. My hope is there is no permanent damage to my hair follicles due to the laser lights. I say this because after researching the hair "shedding" I noticed that "Laser Therapy" is a permanent solution for hair removal. I can't imagine it's the same thing but it sure seems like it. For weeks with each comb long strands of hair would fall in my sink. Now as a woman at 42 years of age I was already experiencing 'light shedding' thus the reason why I purchased it. What I saw coming out of my hair was HAIR, the kind you don't want to lose, the good, shiny strands. It's seriously seems as if I had a radiation treatment. It came to a point that when I washed my hair I avoided combing it at times to avoid more hair loss. I will be returning this product asap. Like many I had high hopes and am terribly disappointed. I can't imagine losing hair I once had just to see new baby hair grow in it's place. Further more the very thought of continuing these sessions and seeing more hair loss is frightening. I hope this company is not using a product they are unsure about on the public as guinea pigs. I hope to give an update soon as to the after results of not using this. In getting a full refund I would like to also get a full refund on the hair that was loss due to the use of this product. Terribly disappointed. P.S. I am asking Irestore not to respond to this review. Your company has become a burden to many instead of the hope you advertised yourself to be.--- Update 11.15.20 ---I receive an email from the company after sending them a request for refund due to the reasons of shared and they replied: please note that your 6-month guarantee will expire on March 5, 2021. In case you still didn't see any results, please contact us a week before that date and we'll be happy to assist you with your return.I just told them I will not be using this device any further.
