Everyone has something to say about essential oil quality, purity and how certain brands are better. I am not that person. I don't have the equipment at home to break down oils to their molecular components. What I can say about this oil is I use it in all of my DIY cleaning products. I have made all purpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner, spider repellant, foot scrub, carpet freshener and will use it for many more. If using for carpet freshener, the peppermint is quite potent and remains very strong until you vacuum, then the smell is weak and disappears quickly. For all other uses, the peppermint is mild and pleasant. For the price and quantity, this is a great product. I have also used doTERRA oil and find I prefer the price and quantity of Purasentials over "quality" of doTERRA. I also never ingest my essential oils and mainly use for cleaning and external beauty.

I received it quickly - I believe it was in two days. It was well packed but even before I took off the bubble wrap I knew what it was. The strong peppermint odor permeated from the container. I thought it might be leaking but it was not. I think the odor was able to come out from the rubber drop top. It sat on my desk for awhile and I had to put it in a zip lock bag to soften the smell. You can still smell it but it isn't as strong. I am not complaining, I just want everyone to know how strong it is.My purpose for buying this peppermint oil was for my house and my dogs. I have read a number of articles that peppermint oil on cotton balls will deter mice and spiders from your home and fleas and ticks from your dogs. What I don't know is how often you need to re-apply the oil to the cotton balls or the dogs. I will need to research that further. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate a response to this.If the strength of the smell from this oil is any indication of its effectiveness on mice, fleas, ticks and spiders, then this will be an outstanding product. I will let you know in a few months.

I had a really bad mouse problem i live in a small apt with one bdrm in brooklyn ny, i almost gave up i sealed up the apt, called pest control and got super adhesive traps, finally someone told me mice hate peppermint smell, i was super skeptical then i decided why not lets do.it, i ordered this and bought a spray bottle i filled up tje bottle half hot water and half this bottle. The first spray burned my eyes a little because the pepperminth was so strong in smell and gave a icy feel to it. I sprayed every corner, closets, heaters, any space i had where mice can crawl even under bed. The house smelled super minty and the air felt icy , it was a little too fresh for us but we were desperate. Its been two weeks and no mice droppings or mice, its just nit believeable at first but really works, i plan to spray apt twice a month.

This smells wonderful if you like the smell of peppermint oil, very strong. We've had an invasion of ants this year and citrus peels (made it worse), cinnamon, clove, peppermint extract - none work. So far, crushed white peppercorn, fresh rosemary sprigs and this peppermint oil around the sink helps some as long as you don't mind your sink looking like some sort of shaman's attempt to be rid of bad mojo.We continue to get anywhere between 2-5 ants around the kitchen sink daily and found one in the bathroom which is 16 paces from the kitchen sink.I wipe the granite counters down with the peppermint oil and they don't seem to like it and gets rid of the pheromone trail. I had some on my hands and didn't wash it off and got some on my cheeks when I was washing my face and you can feel the oil burn against your sink, like rubbing chopped chili peppers on your skin. The clorox with bleach spray and Method cleaning sprays do not seem to deter them as much.

This being my first time using this product, but I can tell the difference. I love the tingling and sensational feeling it brings to my scalp. Again, I'm using this product to enhance my follicles, for the regrowth of some areas of my hair (the edges) that was damaged due to braids. I'm been wearing my natural hair without any chemicals, it's cut very, very low and I enjoy it. Thanks again, for providing me another bottle at no cost due to leakage of the first bottle. That says a lot, meaning that you trust what I said, and that's more than enough. Happy Holidays.

I love the way the peppermint oil smells. Haven't had a chance to use it at home yet but I have a problem with the dropper that comes with the bottle. I may have received a defective bottle, but about a quarter to a half ounce of product spilled/evaporated, likely through the dropper which had oil all over it, despite the product being sealed.I would consider repurchasing again but would look into getting a bottle without a dropper.REVISED-Customer service kindly replaced the defective bottle for me at no charge and it was received promptly. Great customer service!I have been using the oil now, soaking cotton balls and leaving them in various rooms. It smells wonderful!

I purchased this product and it is way beyond my expectations! Never having used essential oil before I started off the first night I received my bottle. I mixed up a batch of cleaner and away I went. What a nice smell left behind. Then there were the ants......I have almost rid them from my house. I don't want to hurt them but I don't want them in my house either. I saw a for sale sign on their ant hill. I love this product!

As a liscenced massage therapist I keep an eye out for quality oil and this fits the bill. It arrived 3 days early with no damage and I was able to put it right to use. Obviously high quality and worth every penny!
