MaternaBelt FlexaMed Pregancy Support Brace Adjustable Band White - XL

I was skeptical to purchase this band because of the sizes it comes in. I am a plus sized woman who is 6 months pregnant. To put that in perspective for other Plus Sized women, I'm 5'9 and wear a size 20 in jeans.I purchased the XL praying that it would fit my plus sized shape, and thank the heavens... It does! Rest easy my full figured friends, there is plenty of room to spare in the XL size. The velcro is super heavy duty and depending on how tight or loose you want it to be, there is enough room for growth. I expect to wear the belt through the remainder of my pregnancy. It's great for back and belly support, I haven't had any back pain since I purchased it. **You should expect a little bit of stretching in the material, nothing too bad to worry about.**Now, the downfall. It's not all that comfortable. As a curvy girl, we have dips and curves where average women do not.. It bunches a bit in those areas. Where my "Hourglass" hits, is where it bunches and it starts to dig in a little bit. (I work in an office setting, so sitting is primarily what I do.) I adjust the band every time I get up.Other than that, I have no complaints and would recommend to any plus sized woman that is looking for a fit, will find it here.

Being a plus-sized girl, I was really debating on maternity belts and hoping to find one that could really fit me!This belt surprised me by not only fitting out of the box without adjusting, but I could adjust it TIGHTER for better support and still feel comfortable. My hips and waist are between 55 for hips and 46 for waist (yes, big girl!). It was very comfortable to walk around in.I have only had the product for about 3 days now, and my only concern is the velcro part where you fit the belt and tighten or loosen it. It digs into my side after a few minutes of sitting down.I had no issues with it riding up (another, pleasant, surprise) - just I wish they had a better type of padding underneath velcro part.I will update on how this goes for the last of my pregnancy.

I purchased this when I was 5 months pregnant. I measured around the largest part of my belly at that time and was on the border between large and extra large. I ordered the extra large and when it arrived it was far too large. I had to wrap it well past where it should have velcroed and even then, it wasn't really supportive enough. I'm now almost 8.5 months and it's STILL too large. Perhaps if I had ordered the large it would have been enough support but it also seemed to stretch and loosen over the three months I wore it.

It is comfortable and I like that it doesn't dig into my skin but if you're looking for it to really make a difference in the way you feel by the end of the day, I don't think this is it. It is better than nothing but I felt like it was very light support. I'm actually wearing my postpartum compression band from my c-section and getting firmer support. I also have a bulging disc and I put on a lot of extra weight during pregnancies.

I bought this to help with my umbilical hernia. I'm currently 5 months along now, but it just seems a little loose on me. I'll have to wait until I'm further along to use it. I'm also concerned with how it looks under shirts. The side with the velcro seemed to bunch a little bit.

This is a great belt. Great support at a low price. Just used for my 3rd pregnancy to help hold up an unfortunate sagging belly. Helped give my belly better shape and support my back. I'm an XL size and this was really comfortable and does not dig in to skin or create bulging. Going to try and extend usage by using after post opt support.

I was having some very annoying back pain, which caused me to be unable to sleep, sit in my chair at work, walk around easily, etc. I bought this hoping it would help, and boy did it! Two days later my back pain was gone. I'm now 33.5 weeks, and haven't had back pain since then. The only thing I don't like about it, is the elastic part (the wrap around back) is starting to pull in places, and so it doesn't seem to fit as snugly anymore. But it still does the trick, and I'm sure it will get me through the rest of my pregnancy-- especially since I'll just get bigger! DEFINITELY worth the money!

This is just what I needed! It is supportive and comfortable. You cannot tell I am wearing it in almost every outfit. There has definately been a big reduction in my back over the last 5 days that I have worn it. I looked at the more complicated harnesses that go over the shoulder, but really didn't want to wear one of those if I didn't have to, as they looked uncomfortable and obtrusive. I may need something more in my last couple of weeks; but for now, I am so glad I tried this before I invested in the more expensive and bulkier belly harnesses!
