Revell of Germany Battleship Bismarck Plastic Model Kit

Good kit, very detailed. I’m no pro and haven’t been modeling since I was a kid in the early 90’s. This took me months (weekends only) to get to the point pictured. The hull red paint peeled after masking, not the kits fault. I am going to stick this in an epoxy diorama anyway. I tried to airbrush the camo on the towers but I’m not that cool, had to brush them. The kit comes with the red and white deck insignia with a blank white circle. I added some plane decals to the middle of them.

Although Revell of Germany has stopped making this kit, I feel compelled to add my two cents worth. First, let me say that this kit is a rare 1-700th, having a full hull, but very well done molding of the pride of the Kriegsmarine. The detail on this kit is very good, and well done with no flash on the sprues. I highly recommend this kit, even though it is out of production. Get yours while you can!

I expected the Bismark to be, you know, bigger. It's roughly the same size as a model F-14 my son built. I was thinking it might be more like 24" long. To be fair, I didn't order it, and the dimensions were probably listed. It just seems odd to sell such a small model of such a big ship.

Many many intricate parts and pieces. This will be fun. Instructions look complex but detailed well. 1:70 Revell Bismarck.

This is my first model i'm building in a long time, first thing I did when it arrived was to check for missing parts or damage. Looks amazing, just waiting for some paint I ordered as well to come in.

So I love Revell but I returned it cause the product and I don't have place to put it box was damage and its not their fault it's the ups but it's the best model for cheap I seen on the market. I'm so sorry for returning it though.

Came very damaged and it looked used

Got this for my Brother who is a avid model builder and he loves it. Great value and build quality.

We did not realise that we had to assemble the model. The tiny pieces were challenging for me to assemble.

Produit reçu dans les délais annoncés. Vraiment très bon point. Toutefois, attention à ceux qui veulent offrir ce bateau car il s'agit du plus haut niveau de difficulté. Ils s'étalent de 1 à 5 (1 étant le plus faible)et il s'agit du 5ème niveau. Sinon les pièces sont super et s'emboîtent bien. J'ai l'impression que l'échelle est un peu plus petite que celle annoncée mais ça ne gêne pas.

Un modello spettacolarmente accurato e già ottimo così com'è della Corazzata Nave "Bismarck" e della Revell, anche se in scala 1:700, dotato anche di ottime decalcomanie, fra l'altro che può essere una base per una ulteriore ancor più accurata riproduzione della corazzata Nave "Bismarck" mediante apposito kit di fotoincisione in metallo, se uno, oltre che un modellista, è in pratica anche un orafo, dotato oltremodo di pazienza e di accuratezza, oltre che degli strumenti necessari del caso, ma rischiando pure di farsi del male da soli, anche se naturalmente sto scherzando.
