it came in a standard plastic bag. The taste is extremely sour, it's the size of the gumball. Once the sourness goes away, a little sweet comes out and afterwards there is a fizzy center that tastes good. Out of the three that I had, one had a not great taste in the beginning but then it got better

My son wanted to have a sour candy challenge at his birthday party and this candy was the clear winner! The sourness far surpassed the other candies we ordered. The bag was quite large ensuring enough for everyone and making them a good value for the price. Although most kids thought they were too sour to eat a second one. The candies are quite large and they are hard balls. Seems like a quality candy brand and is true to their commitment of sourness!

They are good but just a little bit too sour

They taste like cleaner at first but in a good way. Like others have said, they’re so loaded with acid that they make your tongue hurt after one or two. The candy shines for a bit then you get a second dose of sour when the middle starts to fizz from a bunch of random little holes. Each one is a bit different.

There's a powder coating on the outside where most of the "sour" seems to come from... I also feel like maybe this is an artificial chemical sugar of some sort - probably similar to splenda or the like (which I am allergic to) ... there is an initial "slap in the face" of bitterness and sour ... but it's not "tart" like most sour candies ... the initial hit fades relatively quick and it tastes like a regular hard-candy (albeit less sweet) and then there's a little bit of sour-ness in the middle. I was both pleased and disappointed. I really wanted experience a "sour'est candy on the planet" moment (like it was going to turn my face inside out) ... but it didn't. Brought this to my work-place to share... most of the my co-workers also agree with my assessment ... sour but not "the sour'est thing they've had.You do get quite a good quantity of these for the price... arrived in a plain sealed plastic bag ... maybe I'll try another one later. (My tongue still has some lingering numb-ness ... was that a chemical burn from the candy? Or is this part of my food allergy reaction?)

I loved these!! bought them twice and considering buying more! definitely sour and got good reactions by pranking my coworkers

I LOVE SOUR CANDY. I buy this when ever I'm not getting enough sour in other candy. I usually can eat 2-3 pieces before my mouth feels raw. This is the sourest candy I've had so far. Not for the weak. Great for dares or fear factor parties.
