Coin Collecting Starter Kit - Includes Classic Coins for Your Coin Collection

This purchase was for my son, a novice coin collector. He was excited and enjoyed pitting the coins into display settings.

I bought this for my grandson who has shown an interest in coin collecting. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coins I received. I am sure my grandson will enjoy this start to his coin collection. I do have to admit that I am not a coin collector myself, and know little about the subject.

These coins were all in pretty good condition, (VG to VF), but all very, very common. It's almost as if someone looked at the mintage for each coin, and picked out the highest numbers. Like my headline says, since they're in decent condition, it's a great set to get somebody started; if you are already collecting some of these coins, it's doubtful you'll find a hole in your album to fill.

Two of the coins I got were bu. This set exceeded my expectations. The bicentennial quarter I got was beautifully toned as well.

I recently started to collect coins and filling albums. This set is great as a gift because of the variety of coins. I will mention that the coins received were not in the same condition as the photo, definitely circulated. As far as filling albums, all the coins were common dates and nothing terribly rare, but still fun to open and hold in your hand.
