Fantastic stuff
It's sake. It's delicious. It's also the only alcoholic beverage that gets me smashed from the face down rather than the legs up, which, if you're used to the drinks you get from this side of the globe, is a very weird experience, but pleasant nonetheless. If you start smiling for no apparent reason whilst drinking this, it has the same effect on you as it does me 😂Great quality stuff, definitely worth getting again imo.

Nice flavours
This is a nice flavour and is lovely warm or cold, with each different temperature the flavour changes,

Worth the money.
The only reason this doesn't get a full 5/5 is because I have nothing to compare it to and by sheer force of statistics I'm bound to find a better one eventually, although I feel I might have to do a certain amount of foot work on that one.To be honest, as far as price goes it's worth it, because for most people it'll be novelty value as I don't see many people in the UK being 'reared' on the stuff, and for what I got (admittedly I don't have any prior sake experience.. although I do see it goes up to hundreds of pounds) it's worth it now and again. How does it taste?.. it depends on how you drink it!! (yes, two exclamation marks for emphasis)If you drink it cold..... it's foul (fortunately I bought this, from a great seller.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MF93GZ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .. really nice, very!! (see <-) recommended although it is a Chinese wine warmer and not specifically Japanese, still really nice thought).. it tastes as I would imagine turps to taste.. bland, harsh.. and very 'cheap wine-ish'HOWEVER...OMG (I hate this abbreviation.. but use it as a demonstration of my surprise, because it always implies a goggleyedness to me) if you warm it, it undergoes a transformation. The warmer you drink it (warm to downright hot) the sweeter and more fragrant it gets. From cold.. it's taste is cold. If you strain you'll find a 'suggested' sweetness to it, you won't find it to be sweet but you might agree with someone, provisionally, if they mention it to you.. "hmmm.. yeah, I suppose..", but mostly it's like a watered down vodka.. pretty tasteless with a cheap wine 'alcohol hit'.Then, you heat it up... someone in a previous review mentioned 'honey and potcheen', for a different sake.. I've never tasted potcheen, I value my eyesight too much (this is a meme these days I know, but I find it to be amusing), however, good grief I can taste the honey.. and something else... like flowers, and nuts strangely enough. It's very pleasant to drink, and quite light.Something else that I couldn't help but notice. If I drink..whatever that may be at the time.. (although, I am quite partial to a good brandy).. I don't want to eat. I don't drink anything when I eat, except for tea or a soft drink (milk, water, a fizzy), I find that alcohol leave too much of a sickly flavour and aftertaste and interferes with my meal and enjoyment of such, plus food and booze never mixes well with me (except if I happened to be sloshed of a Friday night and want the obligatory kebab which usually ends up on the ground and all down my front, not sure that qualifies as 'a drink with my meal'). With this sake (or probably sake in general), there is absolutely no aftertaste. You take a sip, feel it's warmth (if you have had your eyes closed while you have been reading this... warm it up!), taste it's aroma, then it's gone, really, it's gone. No alcohol bitterness in the back of the throat, no 'bagged up' feeling, just gone (and maybe, depending on how much you have had, a lightness of the head :)), and I can quite easily eat with this as an accompanymeny, or afetr. All in all this has been a very pleasant experiment, and I may find myself drinking it in future (possibly even too much to be happy admitting to)...if you have reached this far in my 'review' of this sake (TL;DR.. very nice, but heat it up!! (emphasis again.. please pay attention)) then I thank you, and also, blame my rambling on me trying out my new 'warmer' (see link above).. don't blame the sake I've been keeping for a fortnight until my warmer arrived, blame the warmer.Postscript (it's what P.S means).. Whilst browsing for my first foray into sake-hood, I noticed that there seems to be an abundance of brands that are from America. If I may ask.. Who On Earth Would Be So Uncouth Enough As To Seek A Taste Of Japan From America?.. No, I don't care if you think 'it's good', I want something from Japan.. You know, those who created it and can provide me with at least a modicum of authenticity.. :P :P (double tongue out)*Stage left*

Best tasting Sake I've had outside Japan.
Not the cheapest, but this is very authentic Sake....great flavour when served at the right temp. This sake needs to be either chilled to 10c...or served at body temp....not room temp.
