TCL 55" Class 4K (2160P) Roku Smart LED TV (55S401)

Like this bargain, came in looking like new. Setup was very simple and image outstanding.. Warranty is just for 90 days as refurbished, but nothing is indicating it won't last years. I can't ask more for 55"' TV for less than $300. Very happy.

Described as "GRADE A refurbished in Like New Condition that has NO cosmetic defects, blemishes, dents, scratches or signs of age. Refurbished products have been restored to meet manufacturer quality standards."The screen was partially outside of the tv frame, that eventually caused it to break -- noticed only when *pop*, it fractured, outside of the warranty period. I doubt that kind of assembly qualifies as Like New or the manufacturer's quality standards, but a problem from the refurbished(refurbisher). So this refurbished product is a non-repairable, few hundred dollar piece of garbage (literally, screen can't be replaced and components can't be reused per repair shop). I would not recommend the refurbished (refurbisher) product. I will now only deal with those sold by Amazon for buyer protection.

Didn’t last long. Had plugged into a surge protector strip and the TV was fried in a power outage. While it lasted it performed great.

It appears that I may have given a wrong rating mostly because I did not find the Remote, stands and Power cord which was tapped firmly to the packaging box. I went and looked again after the response from seller and was able to find it. the TV works just perfectly.

When I initially turned the TV on I was not happy with the picture quality at all. I'm not sure if the screen needed to warm up or have a break in type of period but the picture improved overwhelmingly throughout the first night of use. Overall I'm very happy with the picture quality and TV overall. It was odd that I needed to have an internet connection in order to get started (setup) and actually begin using the TV. I see how that could be an issue for someone. I guess that's what you get for buying a "smart" TV.

Arrived a day later than expected but was in no real hurry, TV was in new condition with a great picture and all of the apps as advertised.. I saved a good bit of money buying it through Amazon.. over all I'm satisfied..

I bought two of these through Black Friday two years ago. Both of the TV's stopped working within 30 days of each other. The screens just go black. So, the hardware for the picture is really bad. And, given it went out in just two years on both pretty much sets the standard. And, no support for the extended warranty.Not excellent quality picture either. The remotes don't have good features. Waste of money. Buy a different brand than TCL.

I'm sure this would be a great television but I'll never know because it came with 2 cracks in the screen. I had to send it back...at MY EXPENSE.
