For pots with a hole in the bottom, please cover the hole with a screen because the sand can pour through the hole.2. Add layer of Desert Bloom to bottom of the pot.3. Re-pot your succulent as is from the pot it was in previously. You may want to remove some of the original soil and trim off rotted or dead roots4. Add Desert Bloom to fill in gaps and create a top layer.5. Water without concern of over-watering. Be sure water (and no product) drains out of the hole, if there is one in the pot.
